I was watching Extreme Couponing on TV the other night, and I saw some lady stock up on like 80 kazillian bunzillion bars of name brand soap and icky, icky, cheap, synthetic-y, conventional lotions. I couldn’t believe she was committing to a lifetime of gunky, toxic “beauty” products in such massive quantities. It was gross. [...]  I know this isn’t news, but most conventional sunscreens do more harm than good. Sun protection is great and all—but only if you’re not piling toxic, carcinogenic chemicals on your skin in the process.
