Late Night Grubs at Pure Luck

There aren’t many vegan restaurants in LA that stay open late (boo), but there are a few and they’re all pretty frickin’ awesome. One of my faves is Pure Luck - they’re open until midnight Monday-Saturday (they are closed on Sundays). If you have a hankerin’ for some tasty-ass noms around beddies time, you should check this [...]

My new favorite vegan sandwich!

Can anybody guess what this is and where it’s from? I’ll give you a hint. This is from a restaurant in Los Angeles that has only one location.

Is there such a thing as healthy ice cream?

The answer is yes! Have you heard of Ice Pan? They make natural, preservative-free ice cream from scratch–while you watch! They have 16 different ice cream flavors and 19 toppings to choose from and you of course get to choose which kind of milk you want (SOY!). It’s literally just milk (soy), fruit and toppings. [...]

Z Pizza: International vegan friendly pizza chain!

I love how vegan pizza is taking over the world. Even just a few years ago, discovering vegan pizza options in restaurants was like finding the holy grail. Thankfully, nowadays, vegan pizza is all up in our grills (literally) – so much sometimes, that I actually get pizza-ed out. That’s crazy right?  I [...]

M Café serves natural and organic macrobiotic food which is 90% vegan (steer clear of their fish). They have the most [...]

I know I’ve blogged about Curly’s in NYC before, but I got try something different from the last time I was in the city… so I had to share.  Curly’s serves vegan breakfast dishes during all hours of operation.  This is a big deal because I love breakfast for dinner… like, love it! [...]

NYC has the best vegan desserts – hands down!

A couple weeks ago, I blogged about Dojo, a cheap & yummy NYC eatery, where I locked eyes with the deliciously hot David Duchovny (don’t tell my hubby I said that!) Well, if you ever happen to make it out to Dojo, you better save room for dessert.  Just a few yards away [...]

Vegan dinner for two in NYC for under $15? Hells yeah!

My hubby and I went to NYC for my birthday and although it was raining for the majority of our stay, it was full of delishiousness and fun times. While romping about in NYC (sans the hubs), my sis-in-law took me to a wonderful and affordable eatery called Dojo. It’s right next to [...]

Restaurant Review: Mani’s Bakery in Los Angeles

FYI:

Complete Awesomeness: Tofu Scramble Hash ($13) with organic tofu, scrambled with asparagus, mushrooms, spinach, miso, nutritional yeast and veggie tempeh bacon (we added vegan cheddar cheese). Sides we chose: Olive bread toast and breakfast potatoes.

This is the BEST breakfast in town and it’s served all day.  This reminds me of NYC’s amazing breakfast spots.
