I’m pretty kookoo whackadoo over vegan shoes! I love ‘em all—sexy heels, clunky clogs, cowgirl boots, sandals, slippers… if the shoes are cruelty-free and look like they’ll beautifully house my delicate toesies, I WANT!

Intro Colourful Grass eco vegan shoes for women and men. I first heard of this company when they were featured on VeganCuts.com (Groupon-esque coupon site for vegans—WOOT!) I made it a mission to get my hands on a pair STAT. What especially struck me about these shoes is that they’re all uniquely cute (with kind of an indie vibe), cozy-lookin’ and eco-friendly (made with recycled materials).

So my eyes were drawn to the forest green Alice Oak shoesies ($75). They’re hand stitched with hemp canvas & have a recyclable strap styled with a coconut shell button (← ♥ it!). I had a Cinderella moment when I slipped these babies on. Not only did they feel amazing (with nice cushy padding inside), but I could tell I’d be able to rock these with a slew of outfits. So, I don’t know if y’all know this about me or not, but I make jewelry. I just do this for fun; I don’t have an Etsy store set up or anything. Anywho, I thought it’d be fun to give one of my necklaces away.

I’ve always been a shoe/sunglasses/purse lady. My collection of all these girlie items keeps growing (as my piggy bank is shrinking); I’ll need to rent out my hubby’s closet space soon! This purse makes me feel like a Rock Star Ninja, all badass and shiz (when for realsies, I’m just a geekmeister). It has a detachable strap for lazy days; otherwise, I like to rock this baby in all of its clutch-tastical wonder. There are a total of 5 compartments (a.k.a. places to stash your gum, iphone and bizzy cards)—this is a big deal—I like to know where all of my goodies are and not have them lumped into one giant abyss. Jeweled Triton: Fair Trade, Recycled Glass Jewelry

Do you realize that beer and soda bottles make some of the most beautiful jewelry ever? Well, it’s true! Everyone knows I’m a big fan of Tracy of Strawberry Hedgehog… she is a talented and creative baker, crafts maker and soap master. She’s a genius! It turns out this geniosity runs in her family. Her sister Brooke makes stunningly exquisite recycled glass jewelry. Please go check out her Jeweled Triton Etsy page! Her earrings are made out of recycled glass pieces and metal that is conventionally mined (she uses sterling silver, copper and 14k gold fill). The recycled glass beads are Fair Trade from Ghana (where they often use these beads as currency). The beads are vibrant, colorful and cheery; they give Jeweled Triton pieces a sophisticated, fun and artsy flair.

I was very fortunate and excited to receive a pair of these eco-friendly earrings – the Sunshine Yellow Recycled Glass and Sterling Silver Earrings (pictured below). I love them sooooo much that I’ve been wearing them every single day (they just happen to go with almost everything in my wardrobe). I love how creative and fun Brooke’s earrings are; they’re ear candy! I always get so many compliments on these earrings when I wear them out. The reason I decided to review Bling Strands is because I can’t resist the allure of all things sparkly. Bling Strands are colorful, delicate metallic fibers that you tie into your hair to add a glittery highlight. The best part about this simple hair accessory is that it’s temporary and you don’t have to use any glues or adhesives. Also, these strands are non-toxic, non-flammable and can be washed, dried, flat-ironed and curled (up to 400 degrees).

Beyonce popularized this flirty, sparkly hair trend when she rocked her blingitude at this year’s Grammy Award Ceremony. She certainly caught my attention ’cause I was like “I need me some hair sparklies!”

There are 30 fun colors to choose from (naturals, precious metals, brights and pastels). How much are these glittery babies?

It’s $6.50 for 18 inch strands (pack of 25) and $8.95 for 36 inch strands (pack of 25). This is an awesome deal considering most salon hair stylists will charge you $2 a strand.
