Green Beauty Spotlight: Fleur & Bee Review & Demo [VIDEO]

June 26, 2019By 0 Comments

According to the Environmental Working Group, Women typically put an average of 168 chemicals on their bodies each day. Think about it—soaps, shampoos, skincare, makeup, it’s just a constant barrage of toxins! We all know that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body, especially considering our skin absorbs up to 60% of everything we put on it. Green beauty is without a doubt the way to go. I’m going to be focusing on green, clean beauty brands on VBR as much as possible. Today, I wanna spotlight Fleur & Bee, whose products are not only non-toxic, but also 100% vegan and cruelty-free. It doesn’t hurt that all of their goodies are under $35 and packed in eco-friendly glass jars, too. 🙂

The Fleur & Bee Lineup

Rose and Shine Refreshing Rose Water Toner, $18 – I love that this toner only has two simple ingredients: purified water and hydroessential rose flower oil. It’s refreshing (you can store in the fridge for an extra cool, summertime boost), smells like fresh roses, and helps to temporarily tighten and minimize the appearance of pores.

Fleur & Bee skincare

Nectar of the C Rejuvenating Vitamin C Serum, $34 – As someone who deals with sun/age spots, hyperpigmentation, etc., vitamin C anything is my jam! It’s loaded with antioxidants and it helps brighten and tighten skin. This serum is light and absorbs quickly, and I’ve really been enjoying it.

Creme de la Cream Hydrating Face Cream, $34 – This antioxidant-rich moisturizer helps smooth skin tone and texture and it’s not too heavy nor does it leave any slick residue. Everything in this line perfectly complements one another.

Fleur & Bee Creme de la Cream

Eyes Eyes Baby Anti-Aging Eye Cream, $34 – This cream has a very similar consistency as the moisturizer and is also packed full of vitamins and antioxidants. It’s light, smooth, and easily absorbed.

Again, all these products work synergistically together, and my skin has been lovin’ ’em over the past couple weeks. I like that they’re simple, pure and effective with a reasonable price point. Yay, for more new green beauty brands on the market that are paving the way for safer beauty! Also, Fleur & Bee donates 1% of their profits to charity! They’re definitely a brand I can get behind.

Which clean beauty brands are you currently enjoying? xx
