Derma E Nourishing Rose Cleansing Oil Review (Spoiler – Me Likey!)

June 21, 2017By 3 Comments

I know sometimes I sound like a broken record, but beauty oils are LIFE! I use them for errythang – to moisturize, remove makeup, fight wrinkles, tame split ends, and even clean my friggin’ face. If you’ve never tried oil cleansing, it’s life-changing… DO IT! Like attracts like, so oil attracts oil, and it cleanses without stripping your skin of its natural moisture… I know it seems counterintuitive, but cleansing oils are great for all skin types, especially oily skin (they help to maintain skin’s natural balance by removing the bad oils and leaving good natural oils). If you’re looking for a oil cleanser that doesn’t leave and slick or greasy residue (which can be a deal breaker for some), I def recommend Derma e’s Nourishing Rose Cleansing Oil ($17.99).

If you’re new to Derma e btw, their formulas are free of mineral oil, parabens, sulfates, fragrance, dye, fillers, etc. They’re a pretty squeaky clean beauty brand, and their products have always been effective for my skin.

This essence of rose (heads up: the rose scent is so light I can barely detect it) gentle cleansing oil dissolves makeup and gunky build-up, and it’s made with anti-aging and moisture-rich beauty oils including jojoba and argan oils. I’ve been using this stuff morning and night for a couple weeks now and have been lovin’ the way my skin feels afterward – nourished and a bit dewy. I’ve tried a ton of Derma e products, but this one is def up there in my top 5.

Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Plant Derived), Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil*, Polyglyceryl-2 Caprate, Polyglyceryl-2 Sesquioleate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Natural Fragrance Oils.

Have you tried this cleansing oil or any cleansing oil before? Please share your thoughts and experiences below. xx

Great review! I love cleansing oil and I’m always on the lookout for one similar to Shu Uemura’s. Does this one rinse away cleanly like many of the Japanese-style cleansers?

Sorry, I sent the comment before finishing it haha. I’ve been wanting to make a cleansing oil, but don’t know where to start.
