John Masters Organics Freedom of Animals Limited Edition Cosmetic Bag

If one of your new year resolutions is to greenify your beauty routine (which I whole-heartedly applaud and commend you for), John Masters Organics is definitely a vegan-friendly beauty line that you should keep on your radar.

They’re all about simple, clean, and effective formulas for hair, body, and even pets. They partner with local, environmentally conscious farmers that harvest high quality, organic botanicals and wild-crafted ingredients. They also use earth-friendly packaging, making them a truly responsible and sustainable brand. ♥

John Masters Organics recently (eco)llaborated with cruelty-free luxury bag line Freedom of Animals, and it’s especially exciting because both companies closely mirror each other’s values. More on that in a bit.

They’re offering 2 gift sets:

The Elephant Print Cosmetic Bag is a free gift with the purchase of the Clarifying and Balancing Collection, which includes the Bearberry Skin Balancing & Toning Mist, Rose & Apricot Antioxidant Day Crème, and Moroccan Clay Purifying Mask, for $69.

The Striped Cosmetic Bag is a free gift with the purchase of the Revitalizing and Hydrating Collection (the set I’m reviewing), which includes the Rose & Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist, Mandarin Maximum Moisture, and Calendula Hydrating and Toning Mask, for $89.

You can also purchase a lovely F of A Striped Shopping Tote for $40.

OK, let’s peep JMO’s Revitalizing and Hydrating Collection, shall we? This set caught my attention because my wintery, dry-a**, crusty skin is in full beast mode, and it ain’t pretty. I look like a dehydrated, scaly dragon, f’realsies. This set is designed to give dry and mature skin (I fit both of these categories) some much needed TLC.

This kit contains three full size organic skin care products:

  • Rose & Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist, 4.2 fl oz. – Smells amaaaazing and only has 6 all-natural & organic ingredients: aloe vera, rose flower water, glycerin, leuconostoc ferment filtrate, rice extract, white tea leaf extract, and gotu kola extract. After I cleanse my skin, I thoroughly spritz every tiny bit of mah face, ’cause mama neeeeeeds all the moisture I can get! If you like cozy rosy scents, you will dig.John Masters Organics Rose and Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist
  • Calendula Hydrating and Toning Mask, 2 fl oz. – THIS. Mmhmm, I dunno why, but 85% of my face masks are of the detoxy nature, which aim to fight blemishes and shrink pores, etc. Hydrating masks are where it’s at, yo! I need more of these in my life and STAT. This mega hydrating mask really does work, and it makes my skin feel a zillion times healthier and more replenished than it is in its natural state. I just wish this magical ish came in a bigger jar!John Masters Organics Calendula Hydrating and Toning Mask
  • Mandarin Maximum Moisture,  1 fl oz. – This is described as a potent, anti-aging moisturizer that fights skin damage. It’s made with Japanese satsuma mandarin extract, which lightens skin and reduces sunspots and glycoproteins, which stimulate cell growth for long-term reversal of damage caused by aging and environmental pollution. I’ve only been using this for a little over a week, but supposedly my age spots will be less noticeable after 6 weeks of use. Do I get props for admitting I have friggin’ age spots or what?? Lol. 🙂 EeeEeee, super stoked for this. Will keep y’all posted as to whether or not I see a big difference in like a month. John Masters Organics Mandarin Maximum Moisture
  • All of these goodies come in a specially designed, limited-edition, organic bag from Freedom of Animals. Freedom of Animals is a New York based company that believes that supporting ethically run factories is the only way to operate. All bags are produced in the United States and materials are sourced from green, eco-friendly production facilities. You can learn more about Freedom of Animals here.

Seriously, how luuurvely is this gift set!? These beautiful bags filled with magical anti-aging love are only available until they run out of stock, so if you like what you see, ya betta act fast! 🙂

What are some of your favorite all-natural anti-aging brands and beauty potions? xx
