LOVE GOODLY Dec/Jan 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon

December 20, 2016By 0 Comments

I’m super excited to share the eco & vegan-friendly items featured in Love Goodly‘s  December/January beauty & lifestyle box, which was curated by the lovely and talented Emily Deschanel. If you’re new to Love Goodly, it’s a beautifully curated subscription box that delivers 4-5 cruelty-free, natural, and vegan full size products ranging from non-toxic beauty and skincare, healthy snacks, and eco style accessories. You can peep my previous reviews here.

Cost: It’s $29.95 bi-monthly (every other month) with price breaks for longer subscriptions. Coupon code VBR5 saves you $5 off any box, too! Icing on the cake → each purchase supports a cause/charity, and this month it’s Farm Sanctuary. ♥

The December/January 2016 Love Goodly Box includes:

Cote Nail Polish no. 38, $18 – Oooh, this is such a deep, moody holiday shade, I’m squeeing inside! Subscribers got 1 of 9 holiday shades (and I’m dying to know which one you got!). I’m diggin’ that these polishes are made in the USA and that they’re free of formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, camphor, formaldehyde resin, TPHP, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, parabens and gluten.

Pacifica Enlightened Lip Gloss in Ravish, $10 – Subscribers received 1 of 3 shades: Opal, Ravish, or Nudist. Love Goodly has been super cool about letting their subscribers e-mail them with color preferences (, put Pacifica in the subject line). It’s such a warm, squishy feeling when you receive a shade of something fancy that actually works with your ish. Anyhoo, this formula is loaded with healthy ingredients and it’s got a sheer, shimmery vibe with a perfect hint of color.

Mullein & Sparrow Facial Steam, $10 – This is a Love Goodly exclusive, and I love the simplicity and elegance of this floral-y sample of TLC. It’s made beautiful flowers like lavender, rose, chamomile, calendula fennel, and chickweed! ← New-to-me flower, but I already know it’s the bomb, ha! Gonna get my spa on this weekend fo’ sho!

MyChelle Perfect C Serum, $44 – Whoa, this item’s value covers the entire box and then some! Mychelle is a solid brand, and by solid, I mean their sh*t works! It contains 17% L-Ascorbic Acid which is the only effective anti-aging form of vitamin C. Needless to say, I have been shellacking mah face with this nightly…

Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn, $1.50 – OK, I inhaled this popcorn upon opening my LG box. No judgies! Surprisingly, I had never had this brand of popcorn before. It was yummy but it wasn’t like mind-blowing. The again, I’m kind of a popcorn connoisseur, and my hubs seriously makes THE best popcorn EVA (coconut oil, nooch, smoked paprika, truffle salt… perfection, y’all). But yeah, this was aiight.

Overall impression: This box has so much value – $83 worth of goodies for $30 (DANG!). Faves this time around were def the Mychelle C Serum, nail polish, and facial steam. Everything was pretty spot on, though.

What do you guys think of LOVE GOODLY‘s vegan lifestyle subscription box?

Reminder: coupon code VBR5 saves you $5 off any box!
