It’s BuddhiBox unboxing day, and you guys, I’m SO sorry I’m hella late on this one… this month has been CRAY (Portland’s snowmageddon shut everything down, my family and I have been sick as dogs, got a new tattoo, werk werk werk werk, etc… ha, that should be its own blog post!). Anyhoo, BB is one of my all-time fave monthly subby boxes, and November’s goodie haul was SO good! New to BB? It’s catered to peeps who enjoy yoga, healthy living, and mindfulness. This subscription box is set up so that each month you’ll receive 4-6 thoughtfully curated products (samples and full sized items) from ethically-sourced and socially conscious companies. BuddhiBox also chooses a charity to donate proceeds to each month.

There are different subscription options that vary in price and get cheaper with duration, but the low commitment month-to-month option is $32.95/month. Btw, you can peep my past BuddhiBox reviews here.

November’s BuddhiBox included:

Vega Coffee ($3) – Vega Coffee is a coffee subscription service that works directly with small farms and is packaged and roasted by the same farmers who grew it. Cool concept and it seems like a lovely gift idea. I don’t drink coffee, so I’ll be passing this along to my hubs… on second thought, I may use it to make some DIY body scrubs for Xmas! 🙂

Deborah Thomsen Walker Cards* ($10) – This set of 4 beautiful watercolor illustrations by artist Deborah Thomsen Walker are totally frame-worthy! They’re printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks, too.

Auromere Himalayan Rose Ayurvedic Soap ($3.60) – This Ayurvedic soap with soothing neem oil is especially great for those with dry and sensitive skin (Vata-Pitta). It’s vegan, non-GMO, rainforest-friendly, paraben-free, gluten-free, biodegradable, and is made with a beautiful blend of Indian and Damascus roses and 15 complementary herbal extracts and oils selected. It smells so beautiful, on par with the other soaps I’ve tried from this brand.

Urban Siren Headband* (~$10) – Ooh, I’m diggin’ the celestialness of this sweet, made in LA headband. Of all the yoga headbands I own, this one definitely has the most flair.

Bedrock and Bloom Smart Ash ($3) – I think is my third of fourth sample of Smart Ash’s tooth whitener, and I’m certainly not bummed about it. I can attest to the whitening effect this has had on my teeth, although it does take much more time to see results than it does with whitening strips or trays. I appreciate that it’s all-natural, made with activated coconut shell charcoal, calcium bentonite clay, and organic orange peel & mint extracts. Heads up – it’s ridiculously messy. The powdery stuff gets everywhere and will discolor your clothes, so use with caution.

Co-Pur Lavender Lime Body Balm ($15) – Bah, this item isn’t vegan. 🙁 It has beeswax in it, so I’ll be gifting this to a friend. Needless to say, I haven’t tried it. I do like the concept of a stick form body balm, though, Co-Pur, please come out with a vegan version – would love to try! 🙂

Overall impression: As always, this box has lots value – $45ish worth of goodies (there wasn’t an info card included in this month’s box, so I took a guess at some of the values). This box was a hit, and I’m especially excited about the intergalactic headband and beautiful, eco-friendly note cards.

I highly recommend giving BuddhiBox a try – quality mindful products, amazing value. It would make a great gift for a friend, loved one, or yourself! They also have a fantastic online shop if there’s a specific item you’ve got your eye on.

What do you guys think of BuddhiBox?

Box was sent to me for consideration. Opinions are my own.
