A few months ago, I finally made a commitment to myself to lose my baby weight and extra wobbly bits (ha, 4 years later). Before you start thinking, “Oh Sunny, you’re fine. Just accept the way you are. You’re skinny!” – lemme just say:

  1. I desperately want to fit into my old, pre-preg clothes (I have SO many cute outfits that I refuse to let go of)
  2. I’m totes cool with being a bit fluffy, but I know from personal experience that when I do exercise regularly and eat cleanly (i.e. no processed foods, fried or sugary treats, etc.), I have more energy, mental clarity, and a boost in labido (haha, TMI, whatever)
  3. I used to have a booty, not like J-Lo style, but it was round-ish. I now have a mom butt. It’s flat like a pancake, so much that my underwear has a hard time staying up, lol. HAWT, I know, but I wanna be real with y’all.
  4. Above all else, I want to be healthy so I can live a long, full, healthy life to enjoy my babies for as long as possible.

As an aside, I just wanna say that my incredible hubs (bless his heart) thinks I’m sexy no matter what, and he tells me this often. I’m a lucky betch! Just putting this out there to assure you guys that I’m doing this 100% for me… and well, my family (as noted above, #4).

Please let me know if you’d like me to make a YouTube video about some of the healthy living habits I have been incorporating into my daily routine… some of them are quite entertaining (for instance, I’m obsessed with something I call “the jiggle machine”, will talk about that another time, though 😉 ). I’m just going to go over a few of the more basic lifestyle changes I’ve made like diet and exercise. For reference, until I decided to get healthy, I never exercised (does lifting a burrito to mah face count?), and my diet consisted of cake, cookies, french fries, creamy white sauce pasta dishes, pizza, chocolate, ice cream, Thai food… basically sugar and fried everything. I’m not even exaggerating (my Instagram is proof!).

A typical healthy meal for Sunbunz at Camp Cuddlebear:

Breakfast: matcha tea, GoMacro energy bar or a banana

Lunch: steamed broccoli with garlic salt and nooch, Gardein chick’n scallopini or seasoned tofu (store-bought)

Dinner: 2 sushi rolls (or bowl) with brown rice, nori, sprouted tofu, avocado, cucumber, white sesame seeds, wasabi, low sodium soy sauce, and a lil’ sriracha sauce (ain’t giving that sh*t up!)

Dessert: 2 medjool dates (I know, I’m wild)

Drink: water, lemon mineral water, JT’s Trilogy kombucha, or Zevia root beer (more of a treat)

My favorite exercise routine:

  • 30 Jumping Jacks
  • 20 High Knees
  • 30 Squats
  • 20 Leg Lifts
  • 30 Crunches
  • 20 Squats
  • 10 Pushups
  • 1 Minute Plank

I try to do this sequence twice, 4-5x a week.

In the past 2 months, I have lost 10 lbs and I’m only 2 lbs away from pre-preg weight!

If you guys have any killer healthy living (←ha, a bit oxymoroninc) tips, pleeeeease share them with me below! I wanna butt again, people, HALP! xoxo
