Linky: What, no kibble?

Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! If you’re new to Petit Vour, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes loaded with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering this month’s box is valued at $38) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).

You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec. Compassionate and affordable—pretty sweet, right?

Petit Vour June 2016

June’s Petit Vour “I’m Really A Mermaid” (← yasssss!) Beauty Box included:

EVOLVh SmartVolume Leave-in Conditioner, $11 – SO, I have a TON of hair… so much that my shortish bob is kind of mushroomy-y (and not in a good way), does that make sense? I have too much damn hair, so when I see the word “thicken” on a hair product, my follicles get skurred. I will say though, that EVOLVh hair products are fantastic and they smell so pretty! I’m all about leave-in conditioners (ya know my crusty, over-dyed hair needs that sh*t), but imma pass on this thickening one. I will kindly gift it to a beloved girlfriend, though.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening SPF 15 Moisturizer,* $18 – My heart gets all pitter-pattery when Juice Beauty pops up in beauty boxes. I feel like their products perform really well and they’re packed full of super healthy and clean ingredients. Although this moisturizer applies more like a straight up SPF than a moisturizer, it actually blends in pretty effortlessly, and I love that it doesn’t leave any white residue or greasy feeling. I’m all about SPF moisturizer combos because, well, I’m lazy af. This is a win.

Precious Skin Elixirs Sea Pearl Exfoliating Clay, $4.50 – This is a powder-to-mousse clay cleanser that doubles as a facial mask. I use clay masks almost weekly since they suck out all the toxic gunk and leave my skin über clean feeling – excited to give this a go. It’s made with water activated vitamin C and clays and that are designed stimulate and brighten the complexion. Megusta, megusta. Also, I wanna give props for the glass packaging, especially considering it’s a sample size.

Suntegrity Lip C.P.R. SPF 30 in Sunburst Pink and Plum Eclipse,* $5 – These lippies are pretty impressive! They’re highly pigmented, protective against the sun, and they’re made with organic jojoba oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter for an extra infusion of hydration. They feel great on the skin and they stay put… and look how purdy they are!

Overall impression: Lots of value in this month’s box – $35 for $15 (with free shipping, yee-haw!). Box faves definitely include the the Suntegrity lip shades and Juice Beauty SPF moisturizer. I’m always impressed with PV’s curation – the products are always useful, fun to play around with, and luxurious feeling.

If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx

hahaha your cat, love it. I wore Sunburst Pink on my wedding day!!! This looks like it was an awesome box. I signed up for the August box and I was so happy I did. I like looking at all of your past reviews just to see the types of products they include 🙂
