Omg, you guys, is a path to end animal testing in sight?

Last Tuesday, the Senate gave final approval to a bill that will revamp government regulation of toxic chemicals, and it’s currently making its way to President Obama for review. This bill, which was drafted by vegan Senator Cory Booker, is intended to protect Americans, our land and our waters from harmful substances and urge the Environmental Protection Agency to develop and use non-animal alternatives whenever possible. As a result, it will save tens of thousands of animals from chemical testing each year.

If this bill goes all the way through, it may not end animal testing altogether, but it’s certainly helping paving the way! *happy dance*

More details on this groundbreaking bill can be found here. xx
