roc me baby Roc Candy

Happy Vegan & Cruelty-Free Manicure Monday!

Today I’m channeling some serious love vibes with my nails! You guys, I recently discovered Roc Me Baby (gotta love that name!), a company that specializes in gem-infused nail polish (what?!?!!!! So cool, right?) and healing gemstone bracelets. If you’ve been following VBR for awhile, you already know that I’m all about crystal and gemstone errthang!! Crystals are beautiful rocks from the earth, that throughout time, have been used for for their healing and protective properties. It might sound hippy-dippy, but hey, a lil’ boost of somethin’ somethin’ certainly can’t hurt. And besides, crystals are simply gorgeous whether you believe in their powers or not.

This week I’m wearing two coats of Roc Me Baby’s “Roc Candy” nail polish, a soft, feminine, nudey-baby pink, infused with rose quartz  (the “love stone”) crystals! I also used their quartz-infused (for healing and protection) “Hard as a Roc” top coat, and now I’m ready to take on the world! 😉 Btw, these polishes are all completely customizable; you can pick the gemstone infusion – beyond RAD! They’re also vegan, cruelty-free and are made without Formaldehyde, Lead, Xylene, Dibutylphthalate (DBP), Ethyl Tosylamide, Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde Resin, or Parabens.

M’kay, let’s move on to this gorgeous piece of jewelry, which perfectly complements my mani! It’s their Morganite Love & Angel braceletMorganite is known both as an angel stone and a heart stone. It’s said to attract love into one’s life or rekindle an old love. It brings compassion, empathy, self-control, and patience. Morganite encourages you to have loving thoughts and actions, reducing stress and helping you to appreciate and enjoy your life. It can also balance emotions and ease the pain of separation. I love how the stones are all pretty pastel shades. I kind of don’t wanna take this bracelet off… ever! And how cool is this? – It comes with directions on how to “activate” your gemstones. Gah, love Roc Me Baby so much!

Roc Me Baby

A bit about the company: Roc Me Baby was founded by Lauran Code and Sharifah Juliana, both internationally renowned in their own right. Lauran is an accomplished international fashion designer who has worked with the top fashion houses worldwide, has appeared on the pages of Vogue, Marie Clare, Cosmopolitan and the list goes on. Juliana, a celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert has been voted “Best of LA” by Los Angeles Magazine, she’s been featured in InStyle, C Magazine to name a few, and has beautified supermodels, socialites and royalties around the globe. Lauran and Juliana realized there was an opportunity to create a business that encompassed all of their passions: crystal healing, beauty, and fashion.

Definitely check out this vegan nail polish and jewelry line for yourself – it’s such a unique concept!
