Red Apple Lipstick City Depth Palette Review & Swatches

Red Apple Lipstick makeup

Red Apple Lipstick has absolutely stunning, highly pigmented vegan lipsticks and eyeshadows. I heart them harder than I’ll ever be able to express here on my blog. Everything they make has super clean, non-toxic ingredients, too! One of my go-to vegan eyeshadow palettes that I find myself using the most, is their new City Depth Palette, which blends mattes with velvety shimmers to create a neutral palette that’s GORRRRG-AH. If you dig lavender-y/gray smokey eyes (green eyed ladies, this especially works wonders for your peepers!), you’re gonna fall in love with this palette.

This palette is a bit on the spensy side ($133), but it’s worth every penny, and you can of course, order individual shadows if you don’t wanna splurge for the whole shebang.

Btw, this palette is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, corn-free, non-GMO, and non-toxic. It’s perfection.

Red Apple Lipstick City Depth Palette

Red Apple Lipstick City Depth Palette includes the following shades:

  • Innocence – a light, bright, white eyeshadow with an opalescent metallic sheen. This is the ultimate highlighter shade for any eye color!
  • Iced Mocha – a light, frosted taupe eyeshadow with an ever so slight tint of a dusty rose mauve.
  • Silver Lining – a beautiful, shimmering silver gray eyeshadow with a gorgeous violet-blue sheen.
  • Violet Vintage – a muted, soft, grayish purple eyeshadow that leans towards being taupe with a faint shimmer.
  • Minx – You guys, I’ve had this palette for awhile now and I think they swapped out the shade I actually have (the medium grayish shade swatched under Violet Vintage) for Minx. I thoroughly searched RAL’s website to figure what the name of the shade I have is, but I didn’t have any luck. Anyhoo, FWIW, I actually prefer Minx (the shade the current palette comes with), which is a medium taupe eyeshadow with a blend of gray, brown and an ever so slight tint of a rosey, purple plum color, and tiny bit of shimmer.
  • Graphite Glam – a cool toned, graphite gray eyeshadow with a purplish-blue sheen that’ll go on with a medium to dark application.
  • Espresso – a very dark, matte coffee bean brown eyeshadow.
  • Clean Slate – This is a matte cool toned dark gray with an ever so slight purple tint that comes in this current palette, but I think I have Chocolate Martini in place of this. I think RAL swapped out a couple shades over time. I’m a huge fan of Chocolate Martini which is a rich, dark chocolate brown with golden bronze shimmer, but boy, Clean Slate sure does look purrrdy – will have to try that shade out, too!
  • Black Magic – a very dark matte black eyeshadow (makes an excellent liner!).

Time for some swatchy-swatch love:

SO in love with this palette – I can’t recommend it enough!
