100 Percent Pure foundation and concealer

If you’re trying to greenify your beauty routine, I highly recommend giving 100% Pure a try. It actually look me awhile to really dig into this brand, but once I did, they became an instant fave of mine. Their ingredients are super clean and true to their “pure” name and their products are highly pigmented, especially the items I’m reviewing today. I wanted to share with you a couple foundations and a concealer from their line that I’ve been using lately because the formulas and coverage are ace! I do wanna say though, that the shade I’m using across the board, Peach Bisque, is a teensy bit orange-y for my skin (makin’ it work, though). I’m still trying to figure out my perfect shade (it’s always hard to gauge that online), but Imma nail that down soon. If you have a 100% Pure store in your town, def swatch these on your skin so you get a perfect match.

OK, let’s dive in!

100 Percent Pure foundation swatch

Super Fruits Healthy Foundation, $45 – This is a rich and creamy, buildable foundation (layer for full coverage) that provides a flawless looking face without feeling heavy or “made up.” It has a cream to matte powder finish (makes skin feel velvety soft), and a little bit goes a long way. Btw, I dot this all over my face and blend it in using a foundation brush (technique is always helpful to know, right?). It’s made with with super fruits, vitamins, and natural SPF – sometimes I’m too lazy to apply SPF so having this all-in-one dealio is perfect for my lifestyle. 😉

Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe Juice)*, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Extracts of Prunus Persica Fruit (Peach), Prunus Armeniaca Fruit (Apricot), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Bean) and Lycium Barbarum Fruit (Goji Berry), Euterpe Oleracea Pulp (Acai) Oil, Punica Granatum Fruit Extract (Pomegranate Oil), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Extracts of Organic Camelia Sinensis Leaf Ferment (White Tea)*, Coffea Arabica (Coffee Cherry), Aristotelia Chilensis (Maqui Berry), Vitis Vinifera Skin (Muscadine Grape), Garcinia Mangosteen Peel (Mangosteen), Malpighia Punicifolia Fruit (Acerola), Sambucus Canadensis (Elderberry), Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed, Lonicera Caprifolium (Japanese Honeysuckle) SUNSCREEN ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 15% Titanium Dioxide, 10% Zinc Oxide * Certified Organic

100 Percent Pure concealer

Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer, $25 – I have to be honest, I was a little be wary about the type of coverage this all-natural concealer would have (my freckles are already out of control and it’s not even summer yet! …I know, embrace the frecks, right?), but I was more than pleasantly surprised. It’s very pigmented and provides full coverage like no joke. The best part is that 100% Pure pigments their cosmetics with fruits and veggies! I don’t know how they do it. It’s like voodoo magic, and I love it! The consistency and coverage are perfect. This concealer is made with caffeine-rich green tea, green coffee, potent anti-aging vitamins, antioxidants, nourishing rosehip oil, and zero funky ingredients like chemical preservatives, parabens, artificial this and thats, nothin’!

Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder, $36 – I know this is a powder foundation but I’ve been using it to sort of set my liquid foundation, lol. It’s chill though because it’s super lightweight and feels barely there on the skin. It provides medium coverage with a matte finish, and I love that it’s chock full of anti-aging vitamins, antioxidants and healthy ingredients like eucalyptus, calendula, chamomile and rose, oil absorbing rice powder (yep, this baby is talc-free), and of course fruit & veggie pigments.

Ingredients: Oryza Sativa Germ Powder (Rice Powder), Pigmented Extracts of: Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit, Prunusm Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Bean), Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit, Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit, Prunus Serotina (Wild Cherry) Fruit and Vitis Vinifera (Cabernet Grape) Fruit, Extracts of: Matricaria Chamomilla (Chamomile) Leaf, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower, Organic Camelia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf* and Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Powder, Oils of: Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed and Persea Gratissima (Avocado), Mica, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Citral**, Eugenol**, Geraniol**, Citronellol**, Farnesol** and Linalool** Sun Screen Active Ingredients:: 12% Titanium Dioxide, 7% Zinc Oxide * Certified Organic **component of natural essential oil

I’m somewhere between a light and medium tan, would golden peach be best or peach bisque? Golden peach sometimes looks like it has a grey undertone on the pictures I’ve seen on Google. Would love to try but the color range is so difficult.

Please, next time when reviewing a beauty product, please state the color name of the product. Thanks.
