M’kay, let’s dive in to this bad boy!

LaRitzy’s February 2016 Vegan Beauty Box included:

Palmetto Derma Rejuvenating Antioxidant Mask,* $64 -Diggity dang, this is one spensy mask – it covers the cost of the box twice over and then some! This mask contains peptides, kaolin clay, glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, and other fancy anti-aging superstar ingredients (sans any funk a.k.a. parabens and phthalates). Heads up, this mask is pretty intense… in a good way, like it’s kicking ass and taking names. If you have sensitive skin, you might wanna first do a patch test or only leave it on your face for a few minutes (instead of the recommended 15-30 minutes). And for those of y’all who wanna know what it smells like, it has an earthy, herbal, slightly floral scent.

Doe Hair Pact Bora Bora Nourishing Hair Mask,* $17 – First of all, I love that this multi-use (good for 4-5 uses on shoulder length hair) pouch is resealable. I haven’t tried it out yet but it sounds incredible. It’s designed to moisturize even the crustiest, most brittle hair. As someone who dyes their hair on the reg, this ish sounds like a godsend. It’s made with natural and certified organic ingredients (zero parabens, sulphates, silicones, phthalates, artificial fragrance, artificial color, etc.), and it smells like a tropical paradise!

Doe Hair Pact Bora Bora

Lather Cucumber Milk Facial Cleanser, $6.30 – I know Imma ’bout to dork out, but does anyone else imagine a lil’ cucumber being milked for this product? I typically love milky, creamy cleansers as they’re gentle and light, and while this one smells and feels amazing on my skin, it does have a few not-so-natural ingredients like polysorbate 60, phenoxyethanol, and capric triglycerides. Not the end of the world at all, but I am trying to stick with mostly all-natural and non-toxic beauty products.

LoveFresh Moroccan Rose Absolute Natural Deodorant,* $24 – Rose deodorant is such a unique and fabulous concept! The vibe of this deodoro reminds me a bit of Lavanila – pretty packaging, gorgeous smelling, all-natural, smooth texture, in stick form, etc. The ingredients are hella pure: Fair Trade Shea Butter, Coconut Oil*, Kaolin Clay, Sodium Bicarbonate (aluminum-free), Emulsifying Wax (coconut derived) and natural organic essential oils*. That’s it. It really does smell SO good, and the scent lingers so you can totes skip the perfume. LOVE. My sensitive pits were on hiatus from baking soda for awhile after a bit of rashy action (in 2015), so here’s hoping they don’t freak out again (finger and toes crossed).

*my fave items from this month’s box

Overall impression: LaRitzy is definitely consistent with exceeding my expectations. The value of this box is insane – $100+ worth of goodies for $25 and that includes free shipping! Such a crazy-good deal! My faves of the bunch include the rose deodorant and hair mask which I haven’t even tried yet but I know I’ll love. 😉 As always, it was a nice variety of hair care and skincare products, and I had fun discovering three healthy and vegan, new-to-me beauty brands like Doe, Palmetto Derma, and LoveFresh (Lather was the only brand I was perviously familiar with).
