The Crafty Cube DIY Body Care Box Review
There is literally a monthly subscription box for evvverything, amiright? It kind of blows my mind! While I mostly cover vegan beauty boxes on VBR (and a few yoga/mystical/mindful living ones), I’ve yet to review a DIY beauty box… until now! If you follow VBR pretty regularly, you already know that I’m a die hard DIY beauty buff. DIY beauty products are fun to make, easy on the wallet, and are as vegan and organic as you make them to be – you have complete control of all the ingredients.
Anywho, I recently got my paws on The Crafty Cube, a DIY body care box. If you’ve ever wanted to create beauty products with minimal, natural ingredients, all from the convenience of their own home, this is box is definitely for you.
What: The Crafty Cube – a DIY Body Care Box (beauty products with 6 or less natural ingredients)
Cost: $19.99/month + $6 shipping
Each month, subscribers receive how-to instructions and color coded ingredients to make one new product, ranging from body scrubs, lotion bars, healing salves, and floral toners.
The box I received contained all the ingredients and instructions to make a Zen Sea Salt Scrub with Himalayan Sea Salt. I’m pretty much always down for zen-anything these days. I’m also in need of a good ol’ scrub down. 🙂

This scrub was hella easy to make, and look how pretty it is! It’s loaded with vitamins and minerals (← Himalayan seal salt has 80+ of those suckas!), and it’s exfoliating, moisturizing, and beautiful smelling – lavender FTW! I’ve only used this scrub on my hands, and the formula is perfect – not too thick, not too dry, not too greasy, just a bunch of zen lovliness. 🙂
