LUSH Valentines Day 2016

Whether you’re all about Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day, you have a squishy to call boo or you’re livin’ la vida loca single style, you gotta admit, Lush V-Day goodies make February a lil’ brighter! I happen to LOVE everything hearts and roses, year-round, so I’m especially giddy about all this sweet ish. Let’s dive in!

LUSH Valentine’s Day 2016

Lush Roses All The Way Soap, $7.95 – OK, cuuuuuute!! This rose-shaped beaut is actually made with a fresh rose infusion and rose oil, and it has leaves a lovely lasting delicate (seriously, it’s not obnoxious at all) rosy scent after you bathe or wash your hands. If you’re a rose lovah, you’re gonna flip out over this luxe, lathery treat.

Lush Prince Charming Shower Cream, $9.95-$32.95 – Y’all this is a limited edition Valentine’s Day shower cream…. So, if you fall in love (which you will!) with its intoxicating blend of fresh pomegranate juice, fair trade vanilla pod infusion and fair trade organic cocoa, ya better stock up! It really does smell dreamy. I almost wish they would make this into a perfume already.

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar, $7.95 – I take bubble baths every single night. It’s one of the ways I treat myself with a lil’ extra TLC. I’ll take bubbles in any form (even baby booty bubbles from time to time) 😉 , but shimmering, pastel-colored bubbles with beautiful essential oils (lavender, ylang ylang and neroli), def makes bath time mega magical. This bubble bar is beyond adorbs, it smells gorrrgeous, and I love the handmade factor – somebody rolled this ‘corn horn with their bare hands, and you can tell; it’s so sweet! You can totes watch them makin’ the magic here. All of LUSH’s products are made by hand and they even have stickers on them, with names and pictures of the people who made them. 🙂

Lush The Kiss Lip Scrub Lip Scrub, $9.95 – This deliciously sweet and perfectly pink sugar (with a touch of salt) lip scrub with edible heart confetti does a stellar of making your lips hella smooth and über smooch-worthy. It has a yummy mandarin/cotton candy scent & taste (same as The Kiss lip Gloss below) – I licked it for this review (’cause that’s how I roll), and it’s pleasantly sweet and salty. 🙂 Gah, I can’t get over how cute everything is, can you!?

Lush The Kiss Lip Scrub Lip Scrub

Lush The Kiss Lipgloss, $8.95 – The Kiss Lipgloss pairs well withThe Kiss Lip Scrub as they share the same cotton candy/mandarin orange scent. It’s a subtle (almost sheer), light, frosty pink gloss (more of a balm IMHO) with a slight shimmer. It has a moisture-rich base of shea butter, illipe butter, cupuacu butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and a yummy blend almond and tangerine oils. It also contians a dash of guarana seed powder to make your lips feel plump and extra soft… doesn’t this make you want to stock up on guarana powder? 😉 Btw, both The Kiss lip scrub and gloss are “self-preserving” and don’t contain any synthetic preservatives. I love how LUSH has a ton of self-preserving products now! This makes my heart happy. 😀

Lush The Kiss Lipgloss

Pros: Everything LUSH makes is crazy-cute, and their V-Day goodies are no exception. All of these items are handmade and smell incredibly beautiful and yummy, too! The lip products above are self-preserving (zero artificial preservatives), and I love that LUSH is making an effort toward more natural beauty products. Mad props!

Cons: These items are limited edition/seasonal, so you gotta stock up on your faves. The ingredients aren’t 100% pure, but LUSH does an amazing job at listing all of their ingredients and noting which items are vegan, and which ingredients are natural and which ones are synthetic. I appreciate the full disclosure. ♥

Verdict: Whether you love or hate Valentine’s Day, you’ll no doubt love these adorable, pampering goodies. I adore all the pinks, hearts, sparklies, and sweet candy scents. And hey, flowers wilt, chocolates go straight to your ass – why not hook your boo (or yourself) up with these V-Day treats instead? 😉

Which LUSH Valentine’s Day products have you stocked up on this year?

Samples were provided for consideration. Opinions are my own.
