silk naturals holiday 2015 collection

Happy December, y’all! I LOVE this time of year so ridiculously much! I’ve decked out my home with colorful lights and glittery stuffs, I’m rockin’ holiday hits 24/7, sippin’ hot cocoa, and gettin’ my snuggly-wugglies on in my onesie PJs (workin’ from home has its perks). 😉

On the beauty front, winter welcomes holiday makeup collections galore, encompassing everything magical about this time of year. And ya betta believe I’m slathering mah face with all the sparklies!

One of my favorite cruelty-free & vegan-friendly mineral makeup lines, Silk Naturals recently launched their 2015 Holiday Collection, and it’s so purrrrrdy! It includes 8 eye shadows, 2 blushes, and 6 lippies.

M’kay, let’s dive in to these va-va-voomy lips shades first! Aren’t they GORG?!

Silk Naturals holiday collection lipstick

Lipstick:

  • Bordeaux – a deep glossy neutral red
  • Linger – a peachy nude that’s made to match Finish blush ↓. It’s a great daytime shade that goes well with every color.
  • Priceless – a deep, dark, neutral reddish brown with a cream finish
  • Timeless – a glossy neutral pink nude.
  • Blackberry – a sheer plum tinted Nourish Lip Conditioner.
  • Mingle – a deep pink with a cream finish

Blush:

  • Finish – a matte peachy pink. It matches perfectly with the lipstick shade Linger.
  • Clasp – a matte plum blush with a hint of pink

Eyeshadows:

  • Present – A deep shimmery purple with hints of blue.
  • Cognac – A deep warm matte brown. It’s a fantastic, versatile crease color.
  • Corrupt – A deep charcoal black with lots and lots of gold shimmer.
  • Cranberry – A deep shimmery burgundy red.
  • Change  A light shimmery copper.
  • Imperial  A light shimmery green.
  • Sterling  A bright shimmery silver.
  • White gold – A pale, not overly yellow shimmery gold shade, great for highlighting.

In this pic, I’m wearing Silk Naturals’ Finish blush with Linger lipstick, and Change (lid) & Present (crease) eyeshadows.

Which shades are your faves from this holiday collection?

    Hi,
    Unfortunately Silk Natural aren’t vegan.
They use silk in their products.
Extracting raw silk starts by cultivating the silkworms on mulberry leaves. Once the worms start pupating in their cocoons, these are dissolved in boiling water in order for individual long fibres to be extracted and fed into the spinning reel.
IMO ot is not cruelty free.
    Thanks.
