DIY All-Natural Vegan Mascara

Most mainstream mascaras contain not-so-sexy, toxic ingredients (e.g. 2-Propanol, Butylated Hydroxyanisole, Diethyl Phthalate, Aluminum, Butylated Hydroxytoluene, Propylene Glycol, Butyl Paraben, Isobutylparaben, Isopropyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Retinol Palmitate, Aluminum, Polyethylene Terephthalate, Ethyle Paraben…) Ew-ah!

Is your head spinning? How is it even legal for companies to sell products for your EYES with such nasties, right?

Here’s a super simple recipe for all-natural, vegan mascara that actually WORKS, and it’s especially great for those with sensitive eyeballs like mahself.

DIY All-Natural Vegan Mascara

Combine and mix all ingredients in a small bowl until completely smooth. Use an oral syringe to transfer your mascara into in clean, empty mascara tube. Tada, das ist alles!

For va-va-vommy lashes: Curl lashes with an eyelash curler, apply 1 to 2 coats of mascara in an upward motion from roots to tips. With a cotton ear swab, carefully pat your lashes with arrowroot powder or corn starch. Apply another coat of mascara.
