Goddess Provisions October 2015 Box Review

I know I sound like a broken record, but there is yet ANOTHER vegan subscription box, y’all!! The one I’m reviewing today is called Goddess Provisions, and it especially speaks to my heart because it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice”… I’ve been all about mystical, mindful, and spiritual enhancing goodies lately, so this box is everything!

Goddess Provisions (founded by the same peeps who created Vegan Cuts) delivers a mix of 4-6 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. 🙂

Cost: $33.00 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. You can visit their subscription page to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.

October’s Goddess Provisions “Third Eye Open” box included 6 full-size items:

Chocolita Blueberry Lotus Raw White Chocolate Bar ($4.95 value) – This raw chocolate bar is infused with blueberries and the rare Blue Lotus flower, which is known to be an aphrodisiac and meditation aid. Did that make your ears perk up? It did mine! I usually take my time exploring and appreciating the contents of subscription boxes, but I have to admit, I kind of snarfed the f*ck out of this sh*t as soon as I saw it… I did squish each bite of yumminess around in my mouth to savor the flavah, though. I’ve eaten lots of raw chocolate in my life, so I was pretty familiar with the taste and texture. It’s not quite as smooth as conventional chocolate but the taste is phenom! I was a bit surprised that this “white” chocolate bar was brown, but it really did taste like white chocolate. I love their gorgeous packaging and the beautiful imprint on the actual chocolate. I’m very interested in trying their other flavors.

Buddha Teas Third Eye Chakra Tea ($10.99 value) – Dude, chakra teas – what a genius idea!! I tried their 4th Chakra tea (from Vegan Cuts’ Yoga Box), and looooved it very much. This one is fantastic, too, and it’s an herbal blend specially attuned to the third eye energy center. It’s contains eyebright jasmine, spearmint, star anise, and passion flower infused with sapphire, a source of of hope and mental clarity… pretty frickin’ cool if you ask me.

Balanced Guru Intuition Energy Mist ($10 value) – I use essential oils every single day to help clear my head space and allow me focus, and blends like these make it easy to spritz on the go when I need a lil’ somethin’ somethin’. This energy spray, which incorporates palmarosa, rosemary, lavender, lemon, Roman chamomile, and pine, is designed to boost your intuition, insight, and imagination (um, yes to all that!). It has a really pleasant earthy and floral scent that I dig, too.

Amethyst Point from Vera Cruz, Mexico ($5 value) – This amethyst was mined over 20 years ago and stored in a special reserve. Goddess Provisions suggests that you meditate with it on your Third Eye Chakra to help you develop your intuition and connect with your guides. All of that aside, it’s a super gorgeous rock. I always keep healing crystals and gems scattered throughout my house, in my car, purse, everywhere! This is a lovely addition to my collection. Thank you, Goddess Provisions.

Meow Meow Tweet Repair Balm ($18 value) – I adore Meow Meow Tweet! Their products are super pure and effective, and their packaging is ridiculously cute. If I ever I get another tattoo (don’t do it, Sunbun!), I would def draw inspiration from their beauty labels. 😉 Their reparative balm is made using healing myrrh, vetiver, and chamomile – all ingredients that nourish and protect against dryness and chapped/cracked skin. It also contains skin lovin’ shea butter, sesame oil, and wild crafted candelilla wax for extra healing power. It’s versatile and can be used pretty much anywhere on your body including your hair and nails. To be honest, I’ve been keeping this by my bedside and using it as a giant lipbalm. It’s feel amazing on my lips, and the scent of myrrh is really pleasant and calming.

Pura Botanica Oh-So-Citrus Just Because soy wax candle ($13) – Okay, how is it that everything in this box is beyond awesome?! This candle… it “takes you to the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean with its signature sweet blend of Portuguese oranges, lavender, and geranium.” Yes, take me away! I love that it’s not just a traditional citrusy scent but that it’s got a lil’ twist. And again with the pretty packaging! Everything in this box is eye candy. I use candles every night when I take a bath, so I’m giddy to add this yummy one to the candle posse.
