Vegan makeup remover wipes

As a momma of two and someone always on the go, I pretty much exclusively rely on makeup remover wipes. They’re super convenient and easy to use, affordable, and travel-friendly – easy to stash in my purse, car, diaper bag, gym bag (ha, like I have time to go work out!), etc. Mommyhood aside, sometimes I’m just too damn tired (read: lazy) to wipe off my war paint before beddies. I’m sure you can relate. I’ve tried a bunch of vegan makeup remover wipes, but I wanted to share some of my faves with y’all – most are all-natural, some are great for sensitive skin, some are anti-aging, some are available at drugstores, and they all vary in price. Peep my top picks!

Vegan & Cruelty-Free Makeup Remover Wipes

  • LA Fresh Waterproof Makeup Remover, $9.99 – These natural, biodegradable & compostable facial wipes are free of parabens, sulfates, triclosan, dyes, PEGs, artificial fragrances, and animal byproducts. Best part: They dissolve resistant waterproof makeup (AMEN!) without irritating sensitive skin. They’re also super Earth-friendly, made in California using clean, renewable solar energy. Only downside is that they’re $pensy and you have to order online!
  • Acure Organics Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes, $6.99 – This is my all-time fave brand of wipes, as they’re mega gentle/non-irritating, and they’re infused with wrinkle-fighting argan oil. These wipes are available at health food stores and Target!
  • Yes to Cucumbers Travel Facial Wipes, $2.99 – These all-natural, oil-free, and hypoallergenic wipes and made with soothing ingredients like cucumbers, green tea, and aloe. They’re made with compostable, FSC certified fabric and are petroleum, SLS, and paraben-free. You can find these bad boys at drugstores, and these wipes also available in Yes To’s Carrot, Blueberry, Coconut, Tomato, and Grapefruit lines.
  • e.l.f. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths, $3 – These gentle yet effective makeup wipes remove all traces of makeup and dirt, even waterproof mascara. They’re infused with aloe vera extract for deep hydration and moisture and are gentle for even the most sensitive skin. Available at drugstores.
  • Natracare Cleansing Makeup Removal Wipes, ~$5 – These wipes are organic and natural, making them incredibly gentle on your skin. They’re infused with the organic almond, apricot and chamomile essential oils. The soft and strong organic cotton cloth is gentle but effective, removing even waterproof mascara and lipstick.
  • Trader Joe’s Micellar Cleanser and Makeup Remover Towelettes, $3.99 – TJ’s has a ton of vegan beauty products, and these wipes are the bomb! They don’t freak out my face like a lot of other wipes, and they’re made without aggressive surfactants, alcohol, colorants, allergens, or parabens. Love that I can shop for my beloved vegan cinnamon buns, kale chips, and makeup wipes all in one trip – LOVE TJ’s!
  • derma e Hydrating Facial Wipes, $7.99 – These wipes are infused with ultra-moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid, which helps condition, soften, and smooth skin. They’re fortified with superfruit extracts grape seed and maqui berry. Bonus: each wipe is 100% compostable and the packaging is 100% recyclable. These wipes are also hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, and sensitivity tested.
  • Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes, $6 – These coconut water infused natural towelettes are super gentle and contain papaya (a natural exfoliant, helps revive skin and remove dead cells) along with aloe vera and calendula (to soothe and calm skin). These wipes can remove most make-up, but due to the fact that Pacifica doesn’t use chemical solvents, they will not remove stubborn water-proof make-up.

Which vegan makeup remover wipes are your fave?

Thanks for compiling this list. It would be even better to know what size all of these packages are, so one can accurately compare prices.

  2. Candy says:

Thank you for this list, I picked up ELF and am really happy with it. Just what I was looking for to switch to from Neutrogena.

  3. whitecat says:

I have very sensitive eyes – so the ONLY thing I can use to remove my eye makeup is the Green Tea Cleanser from made from earth….everything else makes my eyes water. It also is a great cleanser for the mornings! Def recommend if your eyes are sensitive to soap since this is not soap.

I’ve been seeing pacifica practically everywhere lately. I think I should check out how to get them in Europe.

  5. Winnie says:

I made my own using coconut oil and 2 Arbonne products. It was fun and they smelled like a tropical drink. ?

  6. Icequeen81 says:

I really like Yes to Cucumbers wipes.
