Guess what time it is! It’s time to dish on all the sweet goodies from June’s BuddhiBox! New to BB? It’s catered to peeps who enjoy yoga, healthy living, and mindfulness. This subscription box is set up so that each month you’ll receive 4-6 thoughtfully curated products (samples and full sized items) from ethically-sourced and socially conscious companies. BuddhiBox also chooses a charity to donate proceeds to each month.

There are different subscription options that vary in price and get cheaper with duration, but the low commitment month-to-month option is $30.95/month. The sample size is $11.95/month. You can peep my past BuddhiBox reviews here.

This month’s goodie box, which I’ll delve into in just a bit, also came with a BuddhiBox info card with a inspirational quote by B.K. Slyenger on the back, a recipe for Chinese Orange Cauliflower (vegan), and an instructional card for Cobra pose (love saving these!)… so many cute lil’ extras!

June’s BuddhiBox included:

Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereal* – I first tried this cereal at SFO at one of those lil’ zine shops (they provided the hot water, too), and it was some tasty ish. They have interesting superfood flavor combos, and I luuuuurve the fact they they each come with a spoon inside! Best part is that these cereals are all certified organic, vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO. Y-U-M.

Indo-Love Jewelry Namaste Bracelet* – Excuse the nail polish in this shot. My hand-stamped adjustable aluminum namaste (←translation “I bow to the divine in you”) bracelet just looks hella rad in this pic so I had to use it. Doesn’t it pair lovely with my mala bracelet (and my supa fly mani)? 😉

Real Beauty for a Cause Detox Mask* & Toner Tab – First of all, love that this company donates 25% of their sales to charities. Their entire line is plant-based, and I’m especially diggin’ this face mask. It’s made with bentonite clay, activated charcoal, frankincense, and peppermint essential oil. Powder face masks are great because they’re easy to use, customizable (can mix with water, oil, aloe, etc), easy to store and travel with, and they seem to last forever. This mask is especially good at zappin’ zits- it’s just sucks the oil and impurities of your face. Regarding the toner tab, I’m not 100% sure how to use it, and I couldn’t find anything about it on their website. Not sure if you’re supposed to plop it in water to make a toner or what. It looks a lot like a bath fizzy… Imma have to play around with this one. Regardless, it smells like a peppermint dream.

Foursee Apparel Yoga Sugarskull Cotton Tote – Okay, this is a sweet tote! It’s a cool fusion of styles – Mexican Day of the Dead + a lotus blossom, enlightened Buddhas… it’s lightweight and perfect for carrying groceries, craft supplies, yoga accessories, etc.

Also included was a Grokker Free 30-Day Pass ($15 value), a hub for cooking, yoga, and fitness videos and a free download of Kalika Fortin’s new album, “Flowers of Kali,” featuring uplifting chants & intimate songs honoring traditions lost and found ($10 value).

I definitely recommend giving BuddhiBox a try. It would make a great gift for a friend, loved one, or yourself!
