may 2015 petit vour vegan beauty box

Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! I’m stoked to reveal all the über fab goodies in this month’s Petit Vour vegan beauty box! If you’re new to Petit Vour, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes loaded with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan and cruelty-free brands (peep all my previous PV box reviews here). This goodie box is only $15 a month (HELLA good deal, especially considering this month’s box is worth over $45!) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada and $30 worldwide). Pretty sweet, right?

Quick note: PV curates to meet subscribers’ beauty profiles, so if have a question or comment about, say a lip color you receive, feel free to let them know because they curate to the best to their ability and they have amazing customer service.

May’s “Pretty Powerful” 2-year-anniversary Petit Vour Beauty Box (CONGRATS!!! xoxo) included:

Lippy Girl’s Vegocentric Organic Lipstick in Schmoopy* (full size, $23 value – already worth more than this entire box!) – First off, love the name Schmoopy. I have zero clue what it’s referencing but I luuurve it anyway! Second, this light pinkish nudey shade is soooo pretty. It’s def a color I would have picked out myself – very complementary.  The formula is nice and creamy, moisturizing, and it goes on smoothly. It’s organic to boot!

Zabana Essentials Dry Glow Shampoo* (full size, $9.95 value) – As most of you know, I wash my hair about once every couple weeks (I’m nasty, whatever, calm down). It’s how I keep my pink its pinkest… also washing your hair too often can dry out your scalp. Anyhoo… needless to say, I’m all about dry shampoo. I actually have a ton of these bad boys, but none of them have magical shimmer! What a frickin’ genius idea!! And don’t worry, it’s subtle, y’all – ain’t nothin’ like this. If you’ve never used dry shampoo before, it’s basically a lazy (or as I like to say, efficient) way to refresh your hair. It absorbs excess oils, volumizes, and usually smells really pretty. This one smells like Smarties candy. Me likey very much!

nyl Shimmer Scrub ($11 value, PV exclusive)* – So, my photo does not do this gold shimmery (mica-laden) product justice. It’s stunning. Oh, and it has a yummy summer citrus scent, too. I’m a bit confused that no one (as far as I know) has come up with a shimmery body scrub before this one. It’s my dream come true! Now I just need a tub of this stuff so I can sparkle from head to toe! I love this scrub so much, I want to sing! Fa la la la la dee da.

MUN Anarose Toner sample – I haven’t tried this yet but but Imma take it with me on my next vacay… which starts TODAY. According to MUN’s website, it’s supposed to hydrate, moisturize, soothe, smooth and comfort areas prone to dryness and fine lines, enhance anti-aging treatments, and protect against environmental damage. I’m already a MUN fan, so I’m sure it’s crazy awesome. You kind of can’t go wrong with rose toner. 😉

Overall impression: I’m beyond gaga over this month’s box ($45 value with 2 full-sized products)! It’s got so much shimmery love, and each product is super duper clean and all-natural. The lip shade is purrrfect, the dry shampoo is dreamy, the scrub (OMG… just crazy awesome and beautiful), and the toner sounds rad, too.

What’s your fave vegan monthly subscription box? Have you subscribed to Petit Vour yet? How do you like it?
