Belly Bandit Mother Tucker Review

37 weeks pregnant & 2 weeks postpartum

As soon as I got preggo with babeh #2, I  promised myself that I’d give postpartum compression garments a whirl this time around (I totally missed the boat with baby Dylan).

In case you’re wondering what all the hoopla is with postpardum compression garments… They are supposed to help with water retention, lessen post-partum bleeding, alleviate cramping and back pain, and allow your uterus to its return to normal size and location quicker. AND, as a bonus, they smooth out bulges and extra goosh, making you look much better in your old pre-preg clothes. 😀

After doing a TON of research online, I discovered Belly Bandit and their Mother Tucker line had a crazy amount of rave reviews, so I of course, placed an order with an end goal to be a yummy mummy aka MILF (even though my hubs loves me through thick and thin – pun intended). 😉

The goods:

Mother Tucker Nursing Tank – This should be called The Muffin Top Tamer™.  It seriously smooths out all of my postpartum wobbly bits and makes clothes look and feel good again—which is a BIG deal after gaining a kazillion preggo punds. Speaking of looking good, this tank also adds a major va-va voom factor for my girls (Georgette and Tangerine). I LOVE that it has boobie access for for easy breastfeeding (baby Dev loves that, too) and that it can be worn alone or layered.

Slight drawback: I wish it were a wee bit longer as it tends to ride up a bit, but overall, this tank is a winner.

Mother Tucker Leggings – As much as I love the Tummy Tucker tank, I’m even crazier in love with these tummy & thigh slimming, booty enhancing leggings! I already wear leggings practically every day of my life, so that fact that I can keep doing that AND look extra foin and jiggle-free makes me crazy happy. When I wear these leggings coupled with the nursing top above, fuggedaboutit – I feel extra put together and confident. I still have a ton of baby weight to lose, but these garments def help me look and feel better about my new “curves”.
