the perfect little box review

Ladies and germs, there’s yet another (AMEN!) vegan subscription box on the market, and it’s called The Perfect Little Box, which is curated by cruelty-free beauty babes, Hannah & Victoria of the lifestyle blog The Perfect Specimens. For $14 a month, you get a surprise mix of vegan and cruelty-free goodies shipped straight to your door. For more deets, click here.

My first ever Perfect Little Box (from November – excuse my slacktitude) included:

the perfect little box

  • Vega Sport Sugar-Free Energizer (great smoothie booster)
  • Navitas Cacao Powder sample (mega superfood, also great for smoothies)
  • Earthly Body Hemp Seed Hand & Body Lotion* – FULL size
  • North Coast Organics Death by Lavender deodorant sample*
  • Acure Organics’ Marula Oil sample*
  • Lip Glosserie Asoan Pear Lip Balm sample

Pretty sweet, right? I especially love the Earthly Body moisturizing hand & body lotion, North Coast Organics deodorant (smells amaze and actually works!), and Acure Organics Marula Oil (have been slathering marula and argan oils on my belly since I go preggo, and they have worked like a charm).

What’s your fave vegan monthly subscription box?

Beauty box was sent to me for review.

    Hey Sunny!

I also love North Coast Organics deodorant and was using it for about a year. The one thing is that I found that the oils in the deodorant were staining the pits of my shirts! Total bummer! I’ve now switched a different brand but it doesn’t work as well :( Do you have any other deodorant recommendations?

    • Sunny says:

I highly recommend Lavanila, Schmidt’s and Meow Meow Tweet deodorants – they’re all-natural and work really well! :)

    • MeliKat says:

I can second Meow Meow Tweet and Schmidt’s, they work well! I stopped using them because the creamy, coconut oil and shea butter bases were proving too comedogenic for my pits, so I started trying new ones. I think PiperWai works super well (also a creamy coconut oil base but for some reason doesn’t bother me as much as Meow Meow Tweet). I also got a sample of My Goodness deodorant in my Vegan Cuts beauty box over the summer and LOVE it. Just bought the full size. It is thinner and goes on more like a lotion and does not stain after it has dried.
