I have a confession to make. I haven’t worn a watch since I was in middle school… It was glittery with little gold balls floating inside of the face, too. I’m one of those people who are constantly obsessing over what time it is, though, so it’s silly that it’s taken me this long to start exploring the world of grown up, swanky, eco, sustainable, vegan watches.
The kind folks over at JORD, makers of stunningly gorgeous handcrafted wood watches, recently reached out to me for a possible watch review, and I was all over that ish! When asked which one I’d like to test drive, without hesitation, I was like, “The maple one!!” Why? …because I love pancakes. And pancakes are only worth eating if they are smothered and dripping in rich, amber maple syrup. Maple is such a beautiful wood, too, but again, my love for pancakes took over the decision making part of my brain.
I was sent the JORD Fieldcrest Maple Watch, which is totally unisex (not too bulky, not too skimpy), and it truly is a beaut! See for yourself:
I was totally gonna gift this to my amazingly kick-ass hubby after reviewing, but I kind of fell in love with it… a little too much. Hence, I’m going to be a greedy d*ck and claim it as my own. Shhhh… don’t tell Mr. VBR.
I do, however, totally recommend gifting a JORD wood watch to your beloved – they are incredibly unique, stylish, and a steal for the amount of work and quality that’s dedicated to handcrafting each one. This one retails for $120.
