Acure at Target

Eeps, I have some überly abfab news for all my fellow Target lovers! In case you didn’t already know, their cruelty-free, organic, and vegan-friendly beauty products section is growing like cray! We’re talkin’ fave animal-friendly brands like Giovanni, SheaMoisture, WeledaYes to Carrots, Dr. Bronner’s, JASON, e.l.f. cosmeticsPacifica, and MORE! The most recent addition to their kickass lineup is Acure Organics, one of my all-time fave skincare lines!

In case you haven’t become acquainted with Acure yet, they use the purest, most natural, organic, fair trade ingredients (free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, and petrochemicals). They’re also super earth-friendly! Their office and manufacturing are 100% solar and wind-powered; their products are 100% biodegradable; bottles are recycled HDPE, PET, or glass (recyclable, food safe and 100% BPA-free).

And the best part? They use potent ingredients like Chlorella Growth Factor and organic superfruits and herbs like acai, pomegranate, blackberry, rosehips, and rooibos – all amaaaaaahzing and seriously antioxidant-rich wrinkle fighters, A-to-the-MEN!

Yeah, the fact that Acure is now widely available at Target and affordable to boot, is a hella, HELLA good thang. TRUST.

*Btw, in case you need a place to start, some of my fave Acure products include their Argan Oil, Argan Oil Cleansing Wipes (a beauty travel essential), Rose + Red Tea Facial Toner, and their Superfruit + CGF Eye Cream. :)

What are some of your fave cruelty-free beauty brands at Target?

Just saw the display today and was super excited as well to see a fave holistic line of mine to have arrived. Although upon looking at the packaging I noticed a bit of a difference in quality, as in a bit cheaper and chinsy looking and wondering if it’s still the same product that is sold in other natural markets and website. What is your opinion on this? I do remember when they first had launched a few years back the packaging was definitely very nice… i.e. all the moisturizers and serums were in glass pump bottles and tubes had nice/pretty and clean looks in addition to all being boxed for protection. Materials were recycled as well. The first time they redid their packaging I did notice a slight difference in the algae scrub, not as dense and more foaming. Nonetheless still liked it but not as much. I inquired about it and was reassured no formulation has changed. I don’t know though this time around.

I received the Acure Day Cream in a Birchbox and have been enjoying it. Impressed with how reasonably priced the line is!

  3. That’s great to hear! I love Acure and am currently using their Gel Facial Cleanser. It’s great to see big-box stores carry more cruelty-free products.

These products are fantastic! I once bought almost the enire line for about 1/2 price at the Swansons Vitamins site – the scrub and serum are my favorites!
