VBR Rave: Ayurvedic Uma Oils

I’m a beauty oil addict. Seriously, I started my own support group and am the proud president, VP, and secretary. ūüėČ There was a time when just the thought of putting oil on my face or body freaked me the F out, but now it’s all I ever do. There are comedogenic oils (ones that can clog pores), and non-comedogenic oils (the skin-lovin’ ones that won’t clog pores). As long as you stick with the beauty oils that your skin loves, you’ll actually see a striking and noticeable improvement in your skin’s tone and texture.

Okay, now that I’ve professed my love for beauty oils, lemme profess even more love for my new fave brand of beauty and wellness oils:¬†Uma. They make¬†100% natural & organic luxury oil blends that are handcrafted in small batches by experts in India who¬†use¬†Ayurveda and aromatherapy in their formulas. Also, their products and packaging are elegant and √ľber¬†luxe. They’d make great gifts, but if you buy them for yourself, you’re going to feel totally spoiled in the best possible way.

I’ve had some amazing interactions with the company’s HBIC (aka founder and CEO),¬†Shrankhla, and she’s totally blown me away with her thoughtfulness, knowledge, and commitment to making quality oils that have the potential to change both¬†inner and outer beauty.

Oil blends I’m totally and utterly in¬†‚ô• with:

Pure Bliss Wellness Oil: If you’re stressed out, grieving, or just need a lil’ mood boost, this oil’s gonna be your jam. It smells soooooo pretty with its blend of YlangYlang, Rose, Sandalwood, Clary Sage, Lemon, Chamomile, Lavender, in a Jojoba base. Basically, you just massage 4-5 drops onto the bottom of your feet, pulse points, temples, and/or behind your¬†ears, all while deeply inhaling the aromas¬†as you apply. This oil can be used¬†with aromatherapy diffusers (‚ÜźI’ve been rockin’ this method like crazy) or added to bath water, too!

Absolute Anti Aging Face Oil: This is a potent and luxurious blend of Frankincense, Clary Sage, Sandalwood, Geranium, Orange, Neroli, Juniper Berry, Lavender in a Pomegranate Oil base. It’s intended to diminish¬†fine lines and age spots and improve brightness and complexion – all mega concerns of mine. Every night before bed, I’ve been¬†using¬†2-3 drops – I rub the oil between my palms¬†and gently pat it¬†all over my¬†face, neck and d√©colletage. A little goes a long way – you¬†can expect a 1 oz. bottle to last 3 months or more! This oil has not only saved my dry, wintery skin, but I always wake up wit the softest, most supple/glowy/dewy skin. It’s gentle, fast-absorbing, non-comedogenic, and it smells DIVINE! **Love love love love LOVE***

Uma is currently offering VBR readers 25% off entire purchases when you use¬†the coupon¬†code: “sunnyvbr”. That’s an insane savings! Hope you love Uma as much as I do. Also, be sure to look forward to an exclusive VBR Uma giveaway in the new year! xo

You talk a lot about loving these products but not a word about what effectiveness they have or have had on you or anyone else. So why should I buy these even though I want cruelty free – why spend or (as usual) waste money. I need help with correcting aging and sun damaged skin. I don’t care how it smells or feels you won’t get me there – they all smell kinda good and feel kinda good – after all at the very least they can smell and feel good on your skin (for a fortune) but what is the ultimate deal do they work? Be succinct and give the real deal please and Thanks!

Oh, dang. I’m enticed. Dude, I lube up with Vit E oil every night. I have to. I am SO DRY. It’s terrible. Maybe it’s clogging my shit up. Anyway, Uma looks dope.
