Happy Vegan & Cruelty-Free Manicure Monday!

This week I’m trying out a brand new (well, new-to-me, at least) nail polish line called Karma Hues. I found this polish at the motha of all Whole Foods Markets in NYC. Their entire line is vegan, cruelty-free, chip resistant, non-yellowing, durable, non-toxic (doesn’t contain toluene, formaldehyde or DBP), and is safe for pregnant women (HOLLA), kids, cancer patients, and allergy sufferers. Since these polishes are free of über nasty chemicals, there are no harsh stank fumes, either—AMEN HALLELUJAH! You can get these bad boys in glossy, matte, and glow-in-the-dark shades. FUN!

This shade I’m sporting (along with my funky pinky nail jewelry from H&M) is “Metallic Forest.” It’s a metallic purpley-green, oil slick, beetle shade which kind of sprarkles and dances around when you move your fingers. I’ve tried this similar shade from different brands before, but this one def stands out because I only needed ONE coat of polish to get this intense and eerily beautiful mani.

Whatchall think? xx
