Hey, y’all, and Happy October! I just wanted to quickly check in with you guys and show off my ever growing, gigantor, massive baby bump! It looks like a swallowed a basketball. 🙂
I’m well into my second tri and am feeling AWESOME!!
What I’ve been eating: Anything my heart desires. I’m making sure to get lots of fresh fruits and veggies in the mix… but if baby wants an XXL vegan butterfinger milkshake, baby’s gonna get it. 😉 Cravings continue to include anything spicy, sour, tangy or fizzy (I’ve been chugging lemon soda water like you wouldn’t believe). I’m also still taking prenatals daily.
How I’m sleeping: ← Awesomely (crazy dreams to boot)! I bought a hot pink body pillow (which my hubs has named Ryan Gosling because I cuddle with it every night), and it’s the sh*t! Preggo ladies, I HIGHLY recommend you hook yourself up with one big-ass, long (or wrap around) body pillow for cozy sleeps.
How I’m resting: Any time there’s a chance to sit and take a break, I do so. My precious buns and back have been workin’ overtime! Also, pregnant ladies make TWICE as much blood in their bodies, so resting is super duper important.
Gripes, complaints, emotional breakdowns: I’m definitely hypersensitive, hormone-style. I’ve literally cried while watching cereal commercials and HGTV home renovation shows. No big gripes or compaints… yet (stay tuned!). 😉
