I’ve posted a kazillion bunzillion natural deodorant reviews, but but only a few of those deodoos have been the spray kind. Being a mom who obsesses about time efficiency, I much prefer no-fuss deodorant sprays. I recently became acquainted with FreshBod, and ermahgerd, it’s a game changer!
It only contains five simple ingredients: sodium bicarbonate, magnesium sulfate, purified water, hydrogen peroxide and our special ingredient, colloidal silver.
If you’re like, “WTF is colloidal silver?” – It’s an antibacterial, natural substance that has been used medicinally since ancient Greek and Roman times. Most body odor results from bacteria mingling with sweat and oil (HAWT). Colloidal silver destroys this odor-causing bacteria, making it a safe alternative to conventional, chemical-laden deodorants.
Top 5 reasons I luuuuurve this deodorant:
- It’s vegan & cruelty-free.
- It’s affordable (only $7.99).
- It doesn’t leave any residue (dog bless America!).
- It’s odorless, hence, unisex (my dude’s all up in this ish, too).
- It’s extremely versatile – can be used on pits, feet, shoes, socks, gym bags, clothes, yoga mats, etc.
And bottom line, it WORKS!! I’m a stankyified beast by nature… seriously, I even use deodorant before bed, post-bath. This stuff is hella effective and I’ve been rockin’ it on all kinds of stanky clothes in my house, especially toddler socks. 😉
A couple tips/things to keep in mind: Everyone’s body chemistry is different so every natural deodorant might not be a perfect fit for you. Also, don’t forget to detox your pits before switching to a natural deodorant (will help make your deodorant work more effectively). Trust me, you’ll thank me later.
What’s your favorite vegan and cruelty-free deodorant?
