20140618-145701-53821810.jpgWhat’s up party people! I’m coming at you with some fierce news. You can now slap down your hard earned greenbacks for 2 more cosmetics companies! PETA just confirmed that Milani Cosmetics and Jordana Cosmetics have joined the list of cruelty-free companies. Hellz motha grabbin yeah! This is extremely important to those of us who scrounge between the couch cushions for the latest shade of  “Make Sweet Love to Me” red. These two compassionate brands are available at Walgreens, CVS, Duane Reed, Kmart and other stores. Holla! I hit those places up on the reg.

Don’t fret because PETA got that shizzle in writing. Neither company will “conduct, commission, or pay for tests on animals anywhere in the world.” God, that sounds rad.  Both will also carry PETA’s cruelty-free logo.

Seriously awesome. Let’s support them and send the message that bunnies don’t need any part of our plumping mascara, smoky eyes and pouty lips!

To check out Milani Cosmetics’ and Jordana Cosmetics’ new listings, please visit PETA’s searchable online database of 1,400-plus cruelty-free companies. You can also order you own free copy of PETA’s global Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide to take with you every time you shop.

  1. Im a consultant for Jamberry Nails! Their products are 100% vegan, NEVER animal tested, made in the USA, gluten free, and carcinogen free. They are also known as being the 5-free Nail lacquer, meaning they do NOT contain the top 5 chemicals used in most other nail polishes. Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor. Please email me or visit my Jamberry website listed to learn more about Jamberry’s nail lacquers, wraps, and hand care!

  2. Good to know. I know the Milani nail polish is cheap, but I really like it. Plus, you can get it virtually anywhere!

  3. Randi says:

I hope this means they’ve decided to stay cruelty free. Just last week I read on several cruelty free blogs that they were no longer cruelty free!

  4. Isabel says:

Okay, theyre cruelty free, but are they vegan? I’m just confused, likel so they have animal products? This only seems to say that they don’t do animal TESTING.

  5. Jenny says:

Sunny! I found something you should read… it’s a little complicated whether they are truly cruelty free or not :T

Hey Jenny. It’s Tiffany. I wrote this post. Thanks for reading 🙂 This news is hot off the presses. PETA’s Regulatory Testing Division has been working behind the scenes with these companies and just made this announcement yesterday. The post on Logical Harmony is from May when thing were still uncertain. All clear now!

    Great news

      • Jenny says:

YES! Happy to hear that. but do you mind giving me a break down of what had happened? Sorry Tiffany.. I don’t know much about Blogs >_< didn't mean to comment on Sunny haha

        • Tiffany says:

Hi Jenny! It’s okay! I review stuff for Sunny often. If you look at the top of this post it says “By Tiffany Rose”.

I’m not aware of what went on behind closed doors between PETA and these corporations. In the past it has involved meetings with executives from both sides and PETA scientists explaining the cruelty involved, as well as informing the companies of the alternatives to animal testing. Also, consumer dollars speak volumes and the amount of people who only shop for cruelty-free products is definitely on the rise!

          • Jenny says:

I saw your name after lol

A lot of brands I don’t support anymore because they were bought by a company who do testing on animals. Sadly to say that as of yesterday, NYX were bought by Loreal.

Thank you so much for letting me know Tiffany 🙂
