East Bay Vegan Breakfast Noms: Herbivore

Herbivore breakfast

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I could seriously eat tofu scramble for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and second dinner (I’m like a hobbit). One of my fave places to grab brekkies is Herbivore in Berkekely, CA. They serve breakfast until 2pm daily, and everything on the menu is hella YUM! If you live in the East Bay, get yoself some vegan scramsies STAT, and if you don’t live around here, come for a visit (if only for the food—we have Cinnaholic here, too!) :)

Herbivore breakfast faves:

  • Breakfast burrito with choice of tofu scramble or tempeh, with black beans, guacamole, tomato chipotle salsa, sour cream, and house potatoes, $8.95.
  • Pancakes with pure organic maple syrup, butter, and grilled bananas, $7.95
  • Southwestern tofu scramble with tomato chipotle salsa, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, house potatoes, and blueberry corn bread, $9.95.
  • Basil pesto vegetable tofu scramble with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes, house potatoes, toast, fruit spread and butter, $9.75.

You can peep Herbivore’s full breakfast menu here.

I love Herbivore, but strangely, have never been there for breakfast. You’re making me drool girlie!
