Happy St. Patty’s Day! *pinch, pinch*
Although I’m not Irish, nor am I a leprechaun, I still love to get down with Shamrock Shakes! …but not the nasty cow mammary secretion (aka dairy) version ←that’s udderly grody to the max. So whether you’re a compassionate sugar fiend or a lactose-intolerant home dawg, here’s a simple vegan recipe for this hella scrumdiddlyumptious seasonal green, minty flavored milkshake. ENJOY!
Yummy Vegan Shamrock Shake
- 3/4 cup vanilla almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice)
- 1 cup soy (or almond, coconut, rice, etc.) vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- a few drops of green food coloring or a tsp of spirulina powder or frozen spinach
Throw all the ingredients in a blender, mix until smooth, and then drank that tasty ish up! Cheers!
