DIY Coconut Oil Hair Mask for Dry & Damaged Hair

February 11, 2014By 0 Comments

I’m obsessed with having hot pink hair (seriously gonna rock this ish in my granny years, too). As a result, my hair has been bleached, over processed, abused, and is in serious need of TLC. There are tons of awesome vegan and cruelty-free hair masks I can use, but my fave deep conditioning hair treatment is none other that pure coconut oil. It’s the perfect moisturizer for my parched hairsies, and it smells so frickin’ good!

DIY Coconut Oil Hair Mask for Dry & Damaged Hair

What you’ll need:

  • 2 parts coconut oil
  • 1 part olive/almond/grapeseed/jojoba oil (optional)

Combine both oils in a bowl and mix well. Apply the mixture to your hair and leave on for 20 minutes (or longer). Rinse and shampoo and condition as usual. Badabing badaBOOM! 🙂 xo
