Ever since I read about Jessica Alba using a corset to re-gain her hot bod after birthing babehs, I’ve was like—MUST GET CORSET STAT… ’cause a) I popped out a wee one, too and b) my muffin top and I are not at peace. Hence, I recently got my hands on an AMIA Almighty Cincher (gotta love that name!), $54 from Hourglass Angel.
So WTF is a corset diet? Basically corsets hug you in a way that prevent you from overeating. They also immediately reduce your waistline by 1-3 inches, and if you wear the Almighty Cincher for 8-10 hours a day for 30 days, you’ll notice a sustained reduction of 1-4 inches in the tummy region. How is that possible, you ask? The Cincher utilizes the science of compression to support long-term slimming due to its PowerLatex core that stimulates thermal activity and perspiration, mobilizing fat and toxins. Science + Beauty = The Shit! Additional benefits of rockin’ a corset include better posture, lifted tatas, reduced back pain, and hella sexy curves!
OK, this is the part where I tell you how utterly smitten I am with the Cincher. As soon as I put it on, I looked MAD FOIN – seriously, I looked teeny tiny, and every piece of clothing I tried on while wearing it looked super flattering. It gave me a delicious hourglass shape, like va va voom to the max! The first time putting this bad boy on was a bit of a challenge. I was wondering if I accidentally ordered a size too small, but literally by day two, it fit perfectly (snug but not too tight). What I especially love about this corset is that it has two sets of hooks-and-eye closures, so if you find yourself shrinking over time (which you will – I’ve already lost 2 pounds in 10 days!), you won’t have to go out a buy a new corset – just adjust and go on your badass self.
As a feel-good bonus, $1 from each AMIA purchase is donated to the charity The Women’s Alliance, which provides professional attire and career training to low income women. This whole sitch is a win-win all around.
Bottom line: I don’t know if everyone will have the same type of results that I’m having, but with continued use, I’m pretty sure you’ll lose at least a couple pounds, too.
Have you ever tried a corset? Have I piqued your interest?
