Fact: Makeup can be hella toxic (we’re talkin’ parabens, synthetic dyes and fragrances, mineral oil, petroleum, silicones, etc.). If you think I’m trippin’, look up your everyday beauty products here—but be prepared to freak the F out!
Solution: Opt for vegan, cruelty-free versions that are all-natural.
Enter Kharma Universal Tints! These bad boys are PRETTY, mega versatile (can be used on your eyes, lips, and cheeks), vegan, and are made with all-natural ingredients. Check it → Cannabis sativa (Hemp) Refined Oil, Euphorbia anisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax, Cocos nucifera (Organic Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermun parkii (Organic Shea) Butter, Simmondsia chinensis (Organic Jojoba) Oil, Iron Oxides, Mica, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Flavor Oil
These universal tints are formulated with omega fatty acids, antioxidants, and skin conditioners like Vitamin E, hemp and coconut oils to help keep your smackers (and cheeks and eye lids) supple and moisturized.
As much as I totally dig these tints, my only mini gripes is that I wish they had a little more staying power and were a little easier on the wallet (they are $30 each). I do know that buying high quality, healthy-ingredient beauty products is totally worth it, though.
Peep my swatches below. The shades (in order from left to right): Cinnamon, Teddy, Carob, Plum, and Autumn. The first pic shows these colors straight up, and the second one was taken after I got my smudge on.
What do you think of these shades? Do you have a favorite all-natural, vegan lippy?
