  • a.dorn Landlocked Mermaid, $11: All a.dorn nail polishes are free of toulene, DBP, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, and camphor, and they are vegan and cruelty-free. Landlocked Mermaid is a GORGEOUS duochrome of blue, green, and purple sheer. It’s sparkly and magical!  I applied 3 coats for an intense mermaid-y look, and the color lasted for almost 3 full weeks (got lots of compliments, too)! **Use discount code: BLOGLOVE2 for $2 off any polish from their website including 3-packs—unlimited use until May 31, 2013!**
  • Own Refining Night Cream, $24.99: This vegan and cruelty-free night cream contains clinically proven CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) technology, a plant-based ingredient designed to enhance collagen levels, improve moisture retention, and boost metabolism for softer, smoother, and genuinely younger-looking skin. This moisturizer is also Retinol-free, so it won’t cause irritation, redness or flakiness, and it’s paraben-free and sulfate-free! I’ve been using this lightweight cream every night for the past 2 weeks, and it makes my skin feel so incredibly smooth (it smells pretty, too).
  • Fat Chance!, $25: I got this book because I wanted to get rid of my last bit of post-baby jigglies ASAP. This weight loss workbook is a 12-week program that helps record progress in a unique workbook format. Author Susan Maiava’s book focuses on this idea: Forget how “fat” (her word choice, not mine) people diet, focus on how slim people eat (like my pre-baby self). 😉 Her book integrates the latest scientific knowledge and cognitive behavioral principles into an interactive program of daily personal reflection and lifestyle change for healthy and sustainable weight-loss. I like this book because it’s like writing in a journal, and it’s full of questions, exercises, and tid bits—all good stuff!
  • mybotto, $14.99 for a four-pack: Don’t you hate it when your bottle of fancy, expensive vegan shampoo/moisturizer/hair gel/etc. is almost empty except fot that last 15-20% that sticks to the bottom (and takes like 8 billion years to travel upward as you spin it, shake it, curse at it, and throw it across the room)? Me, too! With mybotto inverted bottle holders, you can flip bottles upside down, and let gravity do its thang. These handy little doodads come in different colors and are super affordable.
  • Lilly Brush, $12.95: O.M.G. If you’re as sick of sticky and wasteful lint rollers as I am (I’ve got 4 long-haired kittehs!), get ready to ditch those for a Lilly Brush! This bad boy (girl?) works on all natural fibers including cotton, bamboo, and hemp. It’s mega portable (I keep mine in my car), and it works wonders at removing pills, lint, and pet hair without damaging delicate fabrics. I use it on my couches, tees, pullovers, rugs, you name it (just quickly brush it up and down or side to side as you would a link roller). ‘Tis the shit! Look at their before and after pics (it really does work like magic—my jaw dropped the first time I used it). YAYAYAY!!! 😀
