Vegan Deodorant That Works – Take A Whiff!

October 26, 2012By 4 Comments

If there’s one thing Sunny and I have in common it’s that we are both always on the search for vegan deodorant that can stand its own against some serious BO.

If you’re like me, you’ve spent hours in Whole Foods sniffing every vegan deodorant before making what you deem an excellent purchase only to find out that when you try it, an hour later you smell like it’s been weeks since you’ve showered.

Okay, maybe that’s just me… don’t judge.  :)

Anyway, I came across Take a Whiff deodorant that is made locally here in Raleigh, NC. I’m all about some locally made products lately!

Take a Whiff deodorant is aluminum-free, paraben-free, phthalates-free, proplene plycol-free, and cruelty-free! Not to mention it made me smell like a damn creamsicle! Like seriously, I could eat it straight from the tube. Nomnomnom. Mmmmm. I’m sniffing it right now just admiring its awesomeness. :D

The peeps over at Take a Whiff know that the body is naturally supposed to sweat and that it is healthy to do so, however they find a healthy way to reduce perspiring while still letting your body do its thing! This deodorant kept me drier than most other natural deodorants and I still smelled like a damn creamsicle even after an hour and a half of hot yoga. DA FUQ?!

It’s definitely one of the best vegan deodorants I’ve tried—and I’ve tried a TON!

What are your favorite vegan deodorants?

How does it compare to Lavanila? It’s a little pricier than Lavanila, but not by much, so I think I’ll have to try it!

Honestly, I like Lavanila better…however this is definitely a close second and definitely worth noting. This keeps me dryer than Lavanila, but I like Lavanila’s scents better. Also, I live in Raleigh, NC and I love that this is locally made. I like to support local, independent companies. :)
