DIY All-Purpose Household Cleaner

June 20, 2012By 0 Comments

Get ready for the ultimate affordable, non-toxic (read: baby & pet-safe), easy-to-make, all-purpose household cleaner!

What You’ll Need:

  • Peels from 5 lemons or oranges
  • A quart of distilled white vinegar
  • A quart-size mason jar with lid
  • An empty spray bottle
  • Filtered water
Add your citrus peels to a quart of white vinegar and let it sit in your mason jar for about two weeks (make sure the lid is on tightly). When those two weeks are up, strain out the peels. Fill your spray bottle with 50% citrusy vinegar and 50% filtered water. Tada! Use this bad boy to clean floors, windows, counters, toilets, you name it! Btw, there might be a slight vinegar-y smell when you initially spray your DIY cleaner, but it disappears really fast. Enjoy! ♥
