Since becoming preggers, I’ve been giving my belly lots of extra love! Every night after taking a long, relaxing bath, I slather my tummy with moisture-rich goodness, either in the form of jojoba oil, coconut oil, or shea butter. Sure, I might be trying to prevent stretch marks early on, but it also just feels realllllly good—it’s a tum-tum massage!
Up until the past few weeks, I have been obsessed with using coconut oil on my belly (it smells SO damn good), but I recently received some jars of från krämer shea butter in the mail, and I had to give ‘em a whirl.
They are (pause) DIVINE. First of all, I love the packaging—each jar comes in a eathy-lookin’ gift bag with a different colored wax seal. The scents I tried were Natural, Palmarosa, Lavender, and Vanilla. Mmm, anything vanilla always steals my heart (and yep, that jar is already half empty).
The ingredients are super basic (which I love!)—organic shea butter and essential oils. Each jar is only $10, which I think is a helluva deal considering these skin creams are certified organic with no fillers, waxes, preservatives, or animal by-products. Shea butter can be used all over your body—tummy, elbows, lips, you name it! A li’l goes a long way and it’s super thick and nourishing, so treat your skin to some shea buttery love!
Do you have a favorite shea butter product?

Shea butter is wonderful, think how much your baby will be enjoying it!
Yep-yep!! ;D
If its Sunny Certified then it’s good enough for me!
I will def check out Fran Kramer!
Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I love shea butter, but I’ve never tried this one. Sounds great! Thank you so much for the post. Take care! x
Thank you, sweetie!! xoxo
I’ve been using pure shea butter (unscented) as body moisturizer and pure coconut oil in place of hand lotion.
Sounds perfect!
Totally not on-topic BUT I was just scouring youtube for What Not To Wear episodes, and guess who I found?? I felt like I was having an internet celeb-spotting! So cute, too, the episode talks about your fiance, and then I come and find you’re pregnant! Congrats! Hope you’re doing (stylishly) well, haha.
Lol, it’s so funny how that video is still around! (I think it was from 2007)
Thanks you for all the kind words and for visiting my blog!
