There’s a new vegan fragrance line that is also 100% natural (no synthetic ingredients). Drift Perfume’s lovely liquid perfumes. Samples available :) http://www.driftperfume.com

  2. Susan says:

Liz earle scents are lovely and all of her cosmetic
    range is animal friendly

  3. Veggie says:

Where can you buy the perfumes online (EU) with international shipping?
    Thanks…:)

I ordered three of the Pacifica sprays and one from ecco bella. Ecco Bella’s Ambrosia scent arrived first. Didnt like it at first spray, but after a minute or so I was in LOVE! Couldn’t stop smelling myself all day and it lasted! The Pacifica scents came today… Lilac, vanilla, and Tibetan something. They all smell good, but none have held a candle to the Ambrosia. My daughter likes the vanilla though.

I think that Issey Miyake is vegan, at least by what they replied to an inquiry here: http://veganpeople.livejournal.com/4250696.html I was also once a Lush lover and they are still a good move from traditional or bar shampoos even if only to reduce the packaging. I’ve now gone to this company: http://www.chagrinvalleysoapandsalve.com/. Great article, glad to find some options. I still like that both Lush and Body Shop take back their packaging so at least they are sending some sort of positive vibes. We (vegans) are getting more options.

Hey there ladies, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Body Shop owned by L’Oreal?? So if you’re supporting Body Shop, you are supporting the parent company …who engage in animal testing.
PS Thanks for the perfume recipe, just had a mess around with a bunch of oils and created my own. I didn’t drink the vodka either…. ;) So far so good. If it still smells this good in a day or 2 I’ll share the recipe – if I remember what went in it. :p

  7. Jenny says:

What about Stella Mccartney? I love it and I was under the impression that it was vegan and cruelty free?

    Hey!

I was looking at purchasing the Lavanila ‘pure vanilla’ rollerball or perfume, but it doesn’t look at though they ship to the UK. Do you have any idea where I can get hold of this? Even sample size would be great, as I haven’t actually smelled this yet.

    Thanks!

  10. Keyonna says:

I think that Cocoa Pink and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab should also be listed on there! They are cruelty free (buy ingredients by people that are cruelty free), SLS free, and I want to say that (her products range from vegitarian to vegan) Cocoapink.net & blackphoenixachemlylab.com. I am a hardcore LUSHie and found this in the forum under other companies we love. So far I am in love with BPAL’s perfume that are made with essential oils.

  11. Oooooh, Vanilla Blackberry sounds great!! I’ll have to check that one out! :D

  12. Beauty says:

I am in the process of going vegan and shifting my lifestyle to a healthier, happier one and I love this post because I was literally just thinking about switching my normal perfume to a vegan one, but didn’t know where to start!

I currently wear Ralph by Ralph Lauren (everyday) and Reaction by Kenneth Cole (formal), and was wondering if anyone here could point me in the direction of something vegan that smells similar. I love the fresh, clean type of scents.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  13. Kristin says:

Hey Sunny, was just wondering, what are your thoughts on Lush as a whole? I was in their store the other day and picked up some sweet smelling soap and lotions, but was sad to find out that their shampoos did in fact contain sulfate :/

  14. Katherine says:

Hey lady! Not sure if you’re aware of it, but Lavanila has a new flavor – Vanilla Blackberry, which is DELISH! Love Pacifica as well. I’ve heard of Ecco Bella before, but haven’t tried their perfume yet. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!
