Worry-Free with No Miss Nail Polish

June 16, 2011By 4 Comments

This is a guest post by Lindsey P. who recently graduated from a small business school in Indiana in May 2010 and just recently adopted a vegan lifestyle. She currently works for a small internet marketing firm, and is now planning a wedding.

I just recently graduated from college and that is when I changed to a vegan lifestyle. I am now engaged and going to be married in November. As with any wedding, I am dealing with the stress of finding a photographer, a caterer, the wedding cake, the up-do I am going to have, and how I’m going to do my nails. This can be hard enough, but trying to find all of these products that follow the vegan lifestyle can be even more stressful.

I did, however, just find a solution for doing my nails. With No Miss nail polish, I don’t have to worry about the harmful effects of these products on the environment. All the No Miss products are formaldehyde, toluene, and phthalate-free—and of course, vegan and cruelty-free. There are 46 different shades to choose from, so I can choose the right color for me and my bridesmaids. The polish is also durable, fast drying, chip-resistant and very glossy; thus, ensuring my bridal party will look great on and off camera.

So whether you’re getting married or just like to paint your nails according to your mood, the No Miss nail polish line is great for the vegan way of life. It just goes to show that you don’t have to sacrifice anything when you become vegan; there are just as many choice available.

i’ve never been big on nail polish but when i was in my friends wedding his wife was all about everything matching down to my nails with her girly friends the whole thing was weird and i got yelled at for going to a natural nail salon instead of the megaplex one the bridesmaids went to but the place i went to didn’t use harsh chemicals and i brought the polish she wanted with me so i don’t see what the big deal was… though had i known about this stuff i probably would have just picked the one that matched best. if you still need a photographer check out http://www.iangrantphotography.com/ i went to school with ian he’s an AMAZING photographer and really loves what he does. Best of luck with you wedding i’m sure it’ll be the vegan wedding of the year!

I’ve never tried that brand before, but one could get vegan polishes from Nubar, Zoya, and Butter London too! They’re all 3-free and cruelty-free!

I’m incredibly happy to see this post–I recently received a few of these polishes as a gift and I am SO GLAD to see they’re 3-Free and Cruelty-Free. I’m so picky about my nails and only buy brands I know I can trust, so using these will be a lot easier on my conscience now that I know the details!
