Top 7 Reasons Vegan Makeup Brushes Rock

It’s one thing to have a collection of fab makeup, but if you don’t have the proper tools to apply it with, you’re pretty much screwed. Now, it’s no secret that I’m a gigantor fan of cruelty-free makeup brushes, but I figured I’d break it on down with one of my fave companies, Cozzette. They make MUA-worthy vegan makeup brushes that are easy to use and 100% guilt-free.

Top 7 Reasons [Cozzette] Vegan Makeup Brushes Are the Shit:

  1. They aren’t made out of animal butt hair (eg. squirrel, mink, sable, goat, etc.)
  2. High quality synthetic brushes like Cozzette are ridiculously soft
  3. They don’t harbor bacteria (like animal brushes do)
  4. These particular ones are purple (my fave color)
  5. They are made with 100% renewable resources
  6. Whether you need a brow brush or a blush brush, they’ve got ‘em (booty fur-free)
  7. They’ll help you achieve a flawless, perfectly blended application every time.

Possible drawbacks:

‘Tis all.  Who makes your favorite cruelty-free makeup brushes? Dish!

I have been craving cozzette brushes for a few months now. They are so pretty and have tons of shapes that I haven’t seen in synthetics. Right now Eco tools are pretty much my favorite. Eco tools angled liner and crease brushes are my favorites. ELF also has some nice vegan brushes in their “mineral” line- I like the shadow depositor and blush brush best. Barry M makes a nice cheap lip brush, but I have small lips and don’t find that it gives me enough control..I can never get a nice line. Maybe it’s user error :)
