I’ve been rockin’ Manic Panic since my high school days (my hair used to be every color of the rainbow). Now that I’m all grownded up, I still use their products pretty regularly, especially their makeup (it’s all vegan and cruelty-free, super fun and mega affordable—everything’s only $8-20).
*Giveaway Deets* I’ll be randomly picking 3 winners, and each winner will get to choose between:
Melodrama Kit: This kit includes white creme base and highlighter, black eyeshadow, red eyeshadow, black creme eyeliner, 2 shadow applicators, 1 dual-ended eyeliner applicator, and 3 step-by-step makeup tutorials.
Psychodrama Kit: This kit includes white creme base and highlighter, black eyeshadow, purple eyeshadow, black creme eyeliner, 2 shadow applicators, 1 dual-ended eyeliner applicator, and 3 step-by-step makeup tutorials.
For your chance to win one of three sultry Manic Panic “Creature of the Night” eye kits (red or purple, your choice), simply leave a comment with your favorite makeup tip and be down to join Manic Panic’s mailing list. For extra contest entries, “like” Manic Panic on Facebook and/or follow them on Twitter (let us know you did so in the comment section). Three winners will be randomly selected and notified on December 29th.
Good luck!!!

I love the purple eyeshadows! My makeup tip is to use scotch tape on the bottom sides of my eyes before doing my eyeshadow and eyeliner to create a sharp clean look without worrying about having to clean the creases at the end.
By the way I followed them on instagram I don’t have a twitter or facebook.
my favorite beauty secret is Olive Oil. so afforasble and common, it can be used as a cleanser, makeup remover, exfoliant, hair replenisher, even for nails. it’s a must have for any animal lover.[:

I’m not sure my last comment posted properly. My favorite beauty tip is to use the ELF Makeup Mist and Set Spray http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=138090/Studio_Makeup_Mist_&_Set_Spray/E.L.F./Misc_Beauty_Tools Takes two seconds, makeup looks gorgeous for hours. Also I follow Manic Panic on twitter!
The cool things about these pallets are you can pick and choose what you’d like to use, so you have a lot of different options-from looking like a “Creature of the Night” to just having a little more drama in your make up!
Use sunscreen under your foundation, I like earthscience Almond-Aloe Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 🙂
<3 Manic Panic!

My makeup tip is to always ALWAYS use a primer before applying any type of makeup. For years I was putting on foundation and eyeshadow without applying a primer base before hand and my makeup was constantly creasing and falling off. ALWAYS prime!
My beauty tip is to use moisturize my face using olive oil or coconut oil every other day. I also massage some coconut oil into my hair and wash an hour later.
I “liked” Manic Panic on facebook. 🙂
To avoid harsh eyeliner lines, blend the bottom line with the corner of your eye shadow brush dipped in a little eyeshadow you are already using. Also, after applying lipstick, lip gloss, always make an “o” with your mouth and quickly pull your finger out of it – this makes sure there won’t be any lipstick/lip gloss on the teeth. I liked Manic Panic on facebook!
Squeeze out every bit of your beauty product- you’d be amazed to see how much stuff is left in the tube when you can’t squeeze anymore! I slice the end off and scoop out what I need with a Qtip! Then use a binder clip to keep what’s left fresh!
Wear sunscreen everyday!
I follow MP on twitter (rollerderby) and like on Facebook. and im also on the mailing list.
my makeup tip is a a simple one, but one that i use DAILY. I always apply witchhazel to my skin before any makeup application. Not only does it balanceout the Ph of my skin but it prevents breakouts and leaves my skin as the perfect canvas for any makeup to be applied.
im sooo excited to take part in such a unique and fun contest!
cheers!! <3

Ooh, I’d like to win the purple one! Ummm…I don’t really have any makeup tips since I only wear mascara, but I say moisturize and apply sunscreen daily! Thanks for the giveaway…xoxo
I already currently follow MP and like MP on facebook. but i love their products and i have them in my makeup kit.
I always have Q-tips available just in case i make a mistake with my liner. and I good makeup remover i use is from dermalogica. i wet my cotton ball then apply the product and leave the cotton balls on my eyes for a sec and everything comes off. I am also a mixed ethnicity woman of color also a punk-metal chick and i use manic panic makeup.I may not use the white foundation but i love the eyeshadows and gel liners ,If you want the pale skin look if you are a woman of color simply go out and buy a pale version of your foundation .You can still have a color version of the porcelain doll look. and i high recommend MP red eyeshadow.my fav!
When you need your makeup to last, a primer doesn’t always work, especially if you have oily skin. I use Skindinavia makeup finishing spray. It really sets the make up and helps keep shininess to a minimum.
Good luck everyone – have a wonderful holiday & go vegan!! xo
For a bright look, line your top lashes with an ashy black for edge, but line your bottoms with a silvery white, it will brighten your eyes up and draw attention in a god way 😉
less is more
My makeup tip these days is to always use a lip balm before lipstick so the lips got always moisturized. And my fav lip balm right now is crazy rumors root beer!

My favorite makeup tip: to get a matte lip color that is subtle but noticeable without any messy gloss, stick, creme, etc. apply lip balm, ChapStick, or Vaseline to your lips, and then, with your finger, apply your blush to your lips.
I use a peachy bubblegum blush, so the result is a very natural but very different look than my pale pink lips.
To make it look like your true lip color, put on a little at a time in portions of the lip, and dab a little of the Vaseline/balm you used on top of the blush.
The best perk? Since it’s your choice, you KNOW it is a natural and flattering color for you!
PS: I was already on the newsletter list. 🙂
Hey, I’ve got a question about Manic Panic, is really everything vegan? Because I wrote to them and theay only answered that the hair color was vegan, so I’m still in doubt.
I always used white eye pencil under eyebrow and blend it well also in side the eye to make it look bold and pretty f

Cool giveaway! My makeup tip is that putting a lighter neutral color near the inside corner of the eye and at the brow line opens the eye and gives a more polished look.

My tip is to make sure you make a statement with your hair… its all well and good puting the lashes on, the eyeliner and the amazing vampire red lipstick from manic panic (MY FAV!!) but if your hair is drab your face is wrong.
DYE IT, DREAD IT, SYNTHETIC IT UP!!!!!!
I ♥ MANIC PANIC- bet hair dye& make-up quality around.
I like to put eyeliner just at the outer crease of my eye to get a winged effect. I’m liking MP on FaceBook as we speak. 🙂
My favorite make-up/beauty tip is to apply vitamin E oil to the delicate areas of your face (crease of your eyes, under your eyes, etc.) every night before bed. I am convinced that this will prevent aging.

I don’t wear makeup very often, and don’t wear a lot when I do, so my tip is limited to the simple suggestion of keeping it natural during the daytime. Night time, however, is a different story, and the perfect time to do something bolder with these manic panic kits.
My favorite makeup tip is to always wear mascara, even if you don’t use any other makeup. It will make your eyes pop and look more awake.
I follow on twitter (@TheSassybeauty).
A make-up tip that I use every day is to use cream blush under sheer foundation. It gives a much more natural blush look than heavy powders.
Ooh I’m lovin that Psychodrama kit! Gosh I don’t think I’m good enough at makeup to give tips, but for my combination skin I’ve been using Strawberry Hedgehog’s facial cream, and it works wonders! My skin is now soft and not oily or greasy!

My favourite makeup trick is to put a bit of powder on my eyelids before applying eyeshadow. This provides a good base for the shadow to stick to and ensures that it doesn’t get greasy and creased. I joined Manic Panic’s mailing list.
One of my favourite DIY-Beauty-Tipps is the aspirin mask. It is so easy and the results are amazing.
I’ve once wrote a blogpost about it. Of course you can leave out the honey and ad agave sirup or something like that.

And of course I’m following and liking manic panic;-)

I love to use Manic Panic to achieve a glamorous pin up look. My best beauty tip is to dab a little bit of foundation on your lips before applying a red lip liner and red lipstick. This helps the lipstick last all day and reduces the amount of smudginess. I also prefer to use red lip liner all over my lips instead of lipstick because I like the matte finish and it lasts longer.

Make up tips is use a water proof eyeliner under the bottom part of the eye to make your eyes pop.
Use a paper to apply mascara on the bottom part of your eye.
I am also following Manic Panic on Twitter (Kittiesflock2me) and on Facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/allkittiesflocktome
Powdered eyeshadow works well for filling in eyebrows. Don’t be afraid to use mini-scissors and an eyebrow comb, too.
(oops, 4got 2 say i liked manic panic on fb!) but i did that long ago 🙂
I am already following Manic Panic on Twitter as @Gothcupcake and I already “Like” their page on facebook.
My makeup tip is for those without a lot of makeup tools. I don’t own a large collection of brushes, truth be told I have 1 makeup brush, and it is a “C” brush for creating smoky eye looks, I use that or if I’m feeling artsy I’ll use my pinky finger.
1) To create a blended look pick out a light eyeshadow and a darker eyeshadow.
2) Start with a lighter color on the inner part of your eyelids, start by applying eyeshadow from the tear duct (the end of the eye near your nose) and work your light eyeshadow towards the center of your eyelid.
3) Take your darker color (a darker version of the light color works well) and start from the opposite corner of your eye and work the darker eyeshadow towards the middle of your eyelid.
4) Clean the dark color off of your brush (or finger) and take a little bit of the light color you started with and gently smooth some of the light color from the inner corner of your eye towards the middle and slightly over the darker color. Keep your pressure light when doing this.
5) Keep your eye relaxed to avoid weird patterns in the eyeshadow from your eyelid twitching. This will create an airbrushed look 🙂
6) Repeat with your other eye.
I went straight ahead and “Liked” them on Facebook.
My most important make-up tip is to always, always use eyebrow pencil. I never leave the house without it. It makes all the difference in making me look alive and not like a sleep-walking zombie.
Tip: Waxing your eyebrows makes putting on eyeshadow easier and cleaner-looking.
I liked Manic Panic on Facebook.
My tip is more for people who wear glasses (like I do!). Concentrate your makeup in the eye area, being careful to make sure your eyebrows are shaped similar to your glasses. This is especially true if you where thick, dark and/or plastic frames. These types of frames draw attention to the eyes so you might as well use it to your advantage. Keeping your lips nude or neutral also helps because more bold colors will take the attention away from your eyes.

If you have trouble w/liquid eyeliner try this trick: take an eyebrow brush and dampen it slightly. Next, have a plain black eyeshawdow or color to match your liquid eyeliner, and use the dampened eyebrow brush to make your “outline” for the liquid. Then just simply apply liquid over it. Voila! Perfect liquid eyeliner every time.
Love giveaways, plus a girl can always use makeup. I don’t have any real insightful tips on applying makeup, but I do know that face lotion with sunscreen is key to keeping the wrinkles away. Also staying hydrated and moisturized in the winter to keep your skin from drying out. That’s it, that’s all I know. 🙂
I liked ManicPanic on FB.
I love Manic Panic! I didn’t know their makeup was vegan!
Makeup tip: for darker eyelashes, put mascara above the eyelashes as well as below!
Oo..what a fun giveaway. My makeup tip is to always use a primer under your foundation and eye shadow. It makes everything last SOO much longer! Especially in Summer!
