Spa It Up in the Shower

Bath bombs, bubble bars, bath salts… there are a kazillion spa goodies for bath enthusiasts (like myself), but what about all the shower peeps out there? Well, I’ve recently become acquainted with some beyond awesome spa goodies for those who shower. Smith & Vandiver (cruelty-free and mostly vegan *some products contain honey*) came up with a way to start and end your day on an aromatherapeutic note.

The AM Wake-Up shower tablets ($4.49) will kick off your morning with a special scenty blend of orange, geranium and peppermint essential oils. I’m feeling refreshed and energized just thinkin’ about it. So, you basically place the spa tablet on the floor of your shower, away from the path of the water. As the tablet starts to dissolve, the essential oils will take over and help put you in a beautiful, perky state of mind.

Prefer showering at night or possibly OCD with cleanliness? ;) The PM Wind-Down tablets ($4.49) will help you decompress with a relaxing blend of chamomile and neroli. I ♥ ♥ ♥ these tablets!

Smith & Vandiver also came out with individual spa treatment packets which are great for traveling and sampling. :) My faves…

Aromatherapaes Refining Face Polish Packet ($1.79): You can use this daily for 7 days for micro-dermabrasion results or once or twice a week as a de-gunkifying, pore-refining refresher. Key ingredients: cucmber and aloe vera

Aromatherapaes Toning Face Mud Packet ($1.79): Got large pores? Tighten them up with this nourishing and healing face mask. What’s in this groovy mask? It’s got kaolin & bentonite clays, phytomins, aloe, cell renewing neroli and Vitamin C—all designed to enhance your complexion and rid your skin of impurities. This mask is so creamy and easy to apply (unlike a lot of masks I’ve tried that dry out too quickly). If you have some blemishes that need some extra TLC, use this as a spot treatment overnight—totally dries up those trouble spots! Key ingredients: geranium and rosewood

Enjoy! xo
