All right you beautiful, compassionate DIYers! Skin toner is an essential beauty product… it helps degunk your skin, remove makeup, and shrink your pores.
I want to show you how to make a super duper easy, vegan (and cruelty-free) facial toner using ingredients that you have in your kitchen. It’s great for acne-prone skin, and it’s packed full of antioxidants, amino acids and alpha hydroxy acids (all awesome for fighting wrinkles). Enjoy!
Do you have any vegan beauty recipes? If so, please share!

Hey, I was wondering how long this toner is good for?
2-3 weeks.
Be sure to refrigerate if using green tea.

I have been using this toner for about 4 days now and I have noticed a huge difference already! Thanks for the great advice.
I’ve been a vegetarian for just over a year and I am slowly going vegan by giving up one thing at a time so the change isn’t so dramatic. Your site has helped me find vegan products I have never heard of before. Awesome job changing the world one person at a time.
Hi Heather,
Thank you so much for the awesome compliment (it made me day)!
Congrats on being meat-free and exploring veganism – that’s exciting stuff! Doing it at a pace that’s comfortable for you is key. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just need support.
Btw, I’m so happy you like the DIY toner! Yahooooooo!
Great, THANK YOU!
I don’t think apple cider vinegar needs to be refrigerated, so it should last you awhile. You can also make it in smaller batches so it stays fresh.
I love this idea for toner and I want to try it but have some questions. How long does this keep for and do I need to anything special like refrigerate it? Thanks!
