Well, the beautiful peeps at The Vegan Collection want you to get your hands on one of these tees…for free (if you don’t win, though, you should still totally hook yourself up)! Whoever wins this contest gets to choose between these two fabu styles:  “Veganize LA” (with the tagline “End Animal Cruelty Now”) or “I Slay Vegetables”

For your chance to win a bad-ass Vegan Collection tee of your choice (“Veganize LA” shirts come in blue, black or red; peeps outside of LA might want to opt for the “I Slay Vegetables” tee), simply leave a comment saying what you’d like to see veganized (specific foods, stores, clothing items, etc). I’d like to see more medicines veganized. Even when the chemistry of the pharmeceuticals are not animal-derived they’ll go and put them in a gelatin capsule, or coat them with cochineal dyes, or use animal-derived fillers/carriers. All of this could be done using plant-based materials. And don’t get me started on the animal testing!!!

  2. Pete says:

An all-vegan retro-50s diner; vegan malts, shakes, burgers, etc. complete with checkered floors, vinyl booths, paper hats, and a jukebox!

Hey guys! Have you heard of Food Fight! Vegan Grocery Store in Portland? They have a lot of the stuff you’re wanting vegan version of, specifically marshmallows, jello, cheese-it crackers and peanut butter cups. If they don’t have it, if it exists, they can find it for you.

They even sell vegan near replicas of your parents! I’m serious, its really weird and something they don’t advertise on the website but you can ask them about it.

Oh yeah, besides veganizing the world, for the last 12 years, all I wanted was vegan cheese pizza and that dream came true, courtesy of the ever-amazing Canadians!

Vegan food at airports. It’s always so difficult to find something healthy and substantial to eat when in transit. Vegan food at truck stops. I’m not a truck driver but whenever you have to stop in at those places while traveling all there is to choose from are hot dogs and beef jerky. Vegan food would allow vegan travelers to eat as well as give non-vegan travelers healthier options. How about vegan hostels?? Apparently I’m on a traveling kick with this one. 🙂

  15. Danielle says:

Like everyone else it would be nice to see everything veganized…but in the meantime I’ll settle for all restaurants adding a fully vegan option to each section of their menu (appetizers, mains, desserts, etc.). On the same note, all alcohol (particularly wine) being vegan would be fantastic too!
