DIY Teeth Whitener

Strawberries (which contain malic acid which helps remove tooth discoloration) + a little baking soda (which acts as a buffer) = natural (and cruelty-free) tooth whitener! It’s fast, it’s cheap, and it’s super easy to whip together.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 ripe strawberry
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

Mash the strawberry and mix it in with the baking soda. Apply the mixture to your teeth using your toothbrush and leave it on for about 5 minutes. Rinse, and then brush your teeth with regular toothpaste to get rid of any gritty strawberry seeds and residue. Enjoy your new pearly whites!

I love your site and as a side note…I am in awe of people who claim to be so religous but harm, kill, eat, and are not considerate of animals. Aren’t we all living creatures? We need to care for and respect all beings. We need to help all who can not care for themselves not just humans. People need a harty dose of this acknowledgement. I mean WTF are they that stupid. Very stressful esp. during this election time- Mitt Romney is so religous but is talking about how he is taking his young daughter to kill her first buck….seriously….people need to wake up.
