Z Pizza: International vegan friendly pizza chain!

I love how vegan pizza is taking over the world. Even just a few years ago, discovering vegan pizza options in restaurants was like finding the holy grail. Thankfully, nowadays, vegan pizza is all up in our grills (literally) – so much sometimes, that I actually get pizza-ed out. That’s crazy right?  I feel extremely lucky and grateful to be a vegan who gets to indulge in all the sinful tasting, decadent, ass-growing foods like the rest of the world. Don’t worry, I balance out my heffa food with some hearty salads from time to time. *Note* Z Pizza uses organic ingredients and they have whole wheat and gluten free crusts, too… if that makes you feel any better.

Anywho, Z Pizza is a national pizza chain (actually, international – they have locations in Mexico and the Middle East!) that carries Daiya cheese and has a wonderful selection of vegan pies. They have a Berkeley vegan pizza with Daiya and Gardein veggie crumbles that is to die for.  I personally am nuts over their Tuscan pizza with garlic sauce; Diaya cheese (sub for mozz); Cremini, Shittaki, and Button mushrooms; caramelized onions; truffle oil and thyme. I could make love to this pizza it’s so good. *Note* Keep in mind, any pizza can be veganized!
